:ill::ill::ill::ill::ill:Sorry, had to do 1. Ps error msg saying that console was getting very hot.
Restarted the more ventilated PS3 and got same msg as gt6 started up.
Best to turn her off I thought.:ill::ill::ill::ill::ill:

If you don't already @Mr Gear try running the PS3 vertically it's better for cooling. My previous console had the same error messages, it tends to be the graphics chip that overheats due to its thermal paste going hard.
You could try blowing through the vents with a air duster it might clear out the accumulated dust. Some models have the facility to run the fan at full speed to clear it out - not sure which ones though.

Oh yes, keep it away from the radiators too. ;)

I did have to replace mine in the end (you can replace the paste) but kept it going for awhile by removing the cover and blowing a desk fan over it. :boggled:

Good racing this evening guys. I haven't got to clear to much sand off my cars.

Thanks mate.
She's an old girl ( mk1 monolith). It's a referbed one and the fan is "fast n loud".
She's sleeping now, we'll see how she is tomorrow.

Ahhhhh 🤬 sorry guys I totally missed it and slept in, feel so angry for myself. :ouch:

Sorry guys
It's okay Jordie, it's normal that you had missed, because, if we sleep, then we wake up in a hour which we open our eyes.

Anyways, I suggest you to set the alarm for the next races. 👍

Yes I most definitely will now! I've learnt my lesson the hard way.

Well, I had to do these two races at early morning. I woke up in time because my phone's alarm was set. 👍

Anyways, I wasn't too willing to go to race yesterday, but I just did because the race had been postponed in previous week.

Anyways, Zo, are you planning to do the Season 2 of Trinity Coupe Championship?

Sorry Zo, I even set my alarm but my phone died. This is happening for the second time and I'm very sorry. Hope you guys had fun.

Sorry, had to do 1.

Sorry to hear your PS is poorly Russ, you were missed. Get well soon PS3 👍

I haven't got to clear to much sand off my cars.

Mine's still buried in the desert somewhere!

sorry guys I totally missed it and slept in

No problem Jordie, although I did miss your super-sideways action.

Anyways, Zo, are you planning to do the Season 2 of Trinity Coupe Championship?

I am hatching a plan Harsk, yes. But this time there will be five different cars across five weeks, one make races, but with a PP based handicap system.

I'm just about to update the standings and car allocations for next week fellas, we'll be back to using the original three.

Thought I'd introduce a few photos.

Paul pushes Sparkz into a rare mistake.

Suts takes an unconventional line round the outside of Q

Harsk makes a clean exit, while some idiot struggles to get the power down.

Jammy and Tarn make it safely around THAT corner

One final note, gosh, isn't Sparkz quick!??:scared:

Cheers, Zo.

The original three that do you mean is the Camaro, Maserati and the V12 Vantage, right?

Well, I'll try to appear on the races as much I can, however, in two weeks, I have GRC Round 2, so, during the GRC weeks, it will be even more harder for me to make it for these races. But I will try my best to make it for the races. 👍

Yes indeed Harsk. I hope you can make it fella, you're a benefit to the series, and Jammy and Sparkz need someone to keep them honest. (by this I mean pressurise them in the race, not literally honest, sorry for the confusion for anyone not familiar with such colloquialisms :))

Cheer, Zo.

Enjoyed the races last night, looking forward to more of them on the future.

I'll try to be more consistent in turning up for these races as I've missed a few already. :irked:

The GTR just suited me, it was perfect, can't say much about the V12 Vantage though... Lol.

Well, a great competitor with them, I mean. And it's not Sparkz, but Aaroh. ;)

I only joined this because of the Racers Reunited Club. That's a shame that Jocke is no longer with us. :(

I had no idea that there were 3 races!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I have one question.

Does this order applied to the races?
"The order by that measure is: Jammy, Harsk, Sparkz, Aaroh, Paul, Zolon, Tarn, Qken, Russ, Suts, Jocke, Jordie."

Jammy, Harsk, Sparkz, Aaroh, Paul, Zolon, Tarn, Qken, Russ, Suts, Jocke, Jordie

What I mean by that Harsk, is that in this list the driver at the beginning has the lowest average finishing position. i.e Jammy has had two 1st places, two 2nd places and three 3rd places. His average finishing position is 2.14.

You have had one 1st, one 2nd, two 3rds and one 4th. Your average finishing position is 2.6.

Sparkz has had one 1st and two 4ths, so his average is 3.

And so on for the rest of the field.

That's how I worked it out, cheers, Zo.

Ah! So Jammy is first on the grid for next race, right?

Not necessarily, that list is only used as a means of allocating the cars. The chaps with the best average finishing place get the Maserati, those with the average finishing place furthest down the field get the Aston, and those inbetween use the Camaro. The open qualifying session before the first race, using those cars, decides the grid positions.

Cheers, Zo.

Minor change to next week's races chaps. I've nicked one lap each from the first two races, and put them on the end of the very fast depletion race. All the cars will comfortably cover eleven laps with one tank of fuel, but tyre wear will be beginning to effect performance 👍

Cheers, Zo.
