Yeah it was kinda easy, I took my foot off of the gas after I hit 200, and I'll restore the motor to see how much more hp I can get out of it

Edit: maxed out at 202mph

I have the Odyssey a whirl yesterday and I think I hit 133 MPH. I figured it was just a larger hatchback and those are great aerodynamically but it is just too big and severely underpowered at 200HP with the largest turbo.
 
Time to unveil my new weapon of choice. The Dome Zero Concept! :D Completely stock, bar the 200kg of ballast in the trunk and the zero'd toe on the wheels.

Good luck but my experience with them is that their really not that fast. Could be wrong though.

:odd: You can go a little bit faster with that on top speed, close to 210mph if it's from the hairpin. Mind you, that's with a fully lightened car.

I'll be on for verification runs for a few hours tonight, most of Friday night and pretty much all weekend so look for my rooms to be up, I'm actually going online right now to do some personal runs for the TTT club before I do verifications and if it's quiet in my room I might need some independent witnesses anyway. :cool: I already have one entry that's been verified by Onboy123, and it's something that none of you would EVER expect to do 200mph through the tunnel, let alone 200mph at all. A note to ALL of the boys who were in the room the other night, SHUT UP AND DON'T SPOIL THE SURPRISE OF WHAT IT IS!! :)

I know Odyssey's get a LOT more than 200HP fully worked, I hope you weren't using the power limiter there. :odd: They're actually quite a laugh in the tunnel when people are in Civics and Integra's and you or a mate of yours rock that baby out. :embarrassed:

My 22B will be waiting, but the Spec C will still have a crack at you first though. :lol: That RM was wickedly quick though mate, you had me worried that my Spec C would lose just from your acceleration. :eek: But it survived. Take that RM tune to Indy mate and just stomp on people in Evo's mate, I was amazed at the short term acceleration on that. 👍

No oil change, no other power mods than the turbo. i try not to add all mods and run the thing cause i dont want to keep spending money if it wont make it to 200.
 
Okay so I got my Pikes Peak up to 200mph in the tunnel. Decided to add 200kg ballast to it and try again (it has no weight reduction) topped out at 199mph:grumpy:
Been reducing weight by 5kg and trying. Down to 175kg currently. As soon as I find the maximum weight I'll get one of you to witness a 200mph SUV. Afraid power to weight ratio is nothing special though as I'm right around 3kg-HP currently.

I don't have to imagine...its happened, or at least similar things have happened.:ouch::mad:

Just figured out my gears had gotten messed up so back at 200kg ballast and working the gears...think I can get this.:D

Edit: Success with 200kg ballast! Hit 200mph exactly a bit of playing with the gears might get a bit more. Vital stats 2100kg, 676HP, 3.06kg per HP.
Might be able to shave a few HP and fine tune my sixth gear but no real point to it as its not going to get into the really competitive numbers range anyways since its such a brick.:lol:

One thing which kills my Cobra without TC is wheelspin. Any general tips on how to reduce it?

Try lowering the LSD initial and acceleration values.
Would start around 6/18 or 7/21.
 
Last I checked, lowering them increases wheelspin...
Nope lowering them limits the power going to the wheels and reduces the point that they lock at. Was having trouble getting my Enzo hooked up in the Ferrari seasonal then a friend shared his with me to try out. Liked the overall handling on mine better but his had a lot less wheelspin exiting corners, so I tried his lower LSD settings and presto huge reduction in wheelspin and better acceleration out of corners as I wasn't as likely to cook the rear tires and have the rear end start fishtailing. Higher numbers will give you better straight line acceleration but you have to have the car straight or the LSD locks and you start spinning tires.

Yea school is killing my gt5 time I have a car that easily beats my sl55 but I haven't been able to fine tune it with all this school in the way.
 
Would the Jag that is a '10 model and a standard be good for this? I think it's called a XFR or similar. It weighs about 1950 kg and starts at 450 BHP roughly.

Only one way to find out and that's to try.:D
The Jags and Aston-Martins are actually next on my list to try as they are all relatively heavy.
As I found out with the Pikes Peak the gearing for the top gear plays a big part in this. Thinking its even more important for an auto transmission driver like myself as it's harder to try and maintain a certain rpm with auto I believe than with manual.
 
200 flat with a R35 GTR power/weight was 3.69 and also it's very annoying if the rules are write out in all caps.

I don´t believe the XKR´s can reach the 200 stock and they are far under 4 kg/bhp
The Vantage from the shootout can do the 200.

The stock Vantage can go 187 with Sports Hards (no engine rebuild , no oil , no tuning) 74kgfm torque , 3.7 kg/bhp
