Actually, he's right. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale is the prize for the 1000 Miles! championship. The GTA can be won at the GTA Cup at the Alfa dealership.

dont know about the colour but it appears on the following days:
274
330
372
428
498
575
589

hope this helps a bit. 👍

NOTE: this is from the Japanese and chinese versions. dont know what version you are using.

I´m using the North American version. Anyway thanks

The g**damned Prize Car FAQ foiled me again! For example, I thought I would get a special Renault Clio by winning that jive turkey outright. Turns out, I get a yellow Clio Cup Car. This is even after modifying a Clio Phase 2 from 2000-something up to 400hp to avoid being embarrased again. I think the Prize Car deal said "Renault Lutecia Sport... or something like that."

So if the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Special can be won in "1000 Miles!," I guess me and my favorite Japanese classic car, the Toyota 2000GT, has some work to do. Don't worry, I have this beautiful lady all tuned up, and ready to take on the world's classics.

Canadian Speed
9hr Endurance... I think
No, thats the Calsonic Skyline from 1993.
The Nismo Skyline GT-R LM Road Going Version (R33) '95 can be won from Race of Red Emblem at Nissan. :)

When i raced that Calsonic Skyline from 1993 in Arcade Mode, let me tell you something. I wasn't impressed at all. It just didn't feel like a pure racer, even with less than 600hp. Maybe it was just me, but if I want a Skyline race car, it's simple. Either the Falken GT-R or a JGTC ride. Just make enough money to get one. I say that it's my least favorite Skyline in GT4.

Another car that I didn't really like was the Opera Performance S2000 tuner car. I already have the best S2000- the Power House Amuse S2000 GT1. The Opera variant isn't all that good to me. But buy it to unlock it if you're a GT4 car collector, like I am. Currently at 600, and you start with 240.

I haven't re-entered "1000 Miles!" yet, but I want that beauty of an Alfa Romeo. Speaking of this Italian car maker, they had two nice race cars from the 1960s and 1970s I remembered seeing in "Victory by Design: Alfa Romeo." Would have been nice to see one or both of them in GT4. Don't know the names of either machine, but one is swoopy and lovely, while the other is an LMP.

I want a RED Alfa Romeo Guilia Sprint Speciale.

Having done the 1000 miles 3 TIMES!!!!, and got a BLUE one everytime, and everyone knows that all Alfa's are pants if they are'nt RED :yuck: .

Has anyone managed to obtain a red one?, don't fancy doing the 1000 miles AGAIN just to get another freaking blue one

I'm not looking for a particular car.... I'm looking to find what all COLORS it comes in. Sileighty '98.

You can go into arcade mode and check out every other car to see what colors it's available in, but not the Sileighty!

I've ran the Silvia races 10 times, but only come up with 4 colors. Is that all there is???

Oh yeah, and another one.... the RX-8 type II (I think). The one you win in the license test. The arcade trick shows several, but you only get the license ONCE. Anyone know a way around that???

I have all the PRIZE cars in all the colors but a few. This is all I'm missing (that I know of):
--Honda NSX-R Proto road (vogue silver metallic)
--Mazda RX-8 Concept II (all but yellow)
--Sileighty (only have super black, midnight purple pearl, spark silver metallic, yellow)
--Formula Gran Turismo (all orange, all red, yellow/black)
--MG F (all except frame red, yellow..... 0 miles)
--Volvo240 Estate (all but white, silver green metallic, dark red... 0 miles)

Also, the Ford GT 05 you win @ Infineon has a different set of paint schemes than the ones you can see at the dealer or in arcade mode!!!

Blue Giulia Sprint Speciales? Don't know what kind of blue color, but it's... interesting.

In the Used Car lots, many of the cars you need to increase the number of cars available in GT4's Arcade Mode can all be found here. What I did one Sunday night was that I copied down the names of all the cars I currently unlocked in Arcade Mode. Everything from American cars all the way down to Korean Cars were tabulated in an RTF file I saved on my computer. And each time I see a car that I see in the game that is not in my list, I try to buy that car immediately. By stroke of genius, I was able to unlock a car you can win by clearing all license tests with. I don't know which License and what you have to win, but one of the cars was the Honda S800. I try to get as many cars as I can to unlock them in Arcade Mode. By the way, this game teaches you more about most of the old Japanese machines. I was impressed with some of the older Japanese cars. I'm talking about those before 1980. The S500, S600, and S800 are all very nice classic Hondas. That Fairfield convertible from Nissan was pretty cute, if I dare say. My favorite classics are the Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto, with its nice handling and overall sweet appearance. The Honda S800 Race Car is pretty doggone small, but is a front-engined go-kart. It's insanely fun for the small car races (as long as there are no restrictions on cars allowed)

Another thing about the Used Car lots is that you may find cars with different colors. Case in point would be the 155 and 165 Alfa Romeos. They take a page out of the TVR paint registry bearing Crystal Topaz Pearlescent. I don't know if you'll find a Nissan R92CP in Midnight Pearl III, but you might be surprised with some of the colors for some of the cars.

You can find the Sileighty in arcade mode if you view the cars by era/history. :)

Edit: The Sileighty is avaible in 5 colors: Midnight Purple, Black, Silver, White and Yellow. (I have just checked).

Did you know that you don't have to win the Sileighty? It can be found at the late 90's used cars dealer in 10 of the 100 lineups. (Week: 16, 17, 27, 52, 68, 82, 84, 89, 97, 99)

Thanx for the news on the sileighty. I've seen it in the used lot, but the goal is to get them all with 0 miles.

The Alfa Guilia Special comes in "bluette", johnbm.

With VERY few exceptions, prize cars never show up as "used." The only way to get them is to win them. The few that do show up usually have ridiculous miles on them. That's where I've been getting frustrated with my "collecting".

I have 100%... everything's unlocked. Just can't figure out a pattern to ensure I win the color I'm looking for.

Also, anyone ever seen anything from this list in used? I've noticed you can't win them and you can't buy them at dealerships. I think I've seen a couple in historic that were similar, but can't remember. They're the basis for racing cars you win??

Most, if not all of those are available in the 2nd hand shops, but you need to be carefull, a lot of them only appear once or twice in the 694 day cycle, so it pays to check every 7 days.

I've found & purchased every one of those in the used lots, you're not the only OCD collector around here. :)

I believe the Mazda 100S is the only one of those that's also a prize car, so you should win it if you're looking for low mileage.

For the rest (and assuming you're in North America), find any post in this thread by TornadoAlley. In his sig is a link to his excellent used car guide that helped me track down some of the more elusive cars. I sorted it by number of appearances in the lots and printed out the first two pages to get a handy guide to the rarest used cars. 👍

Thanx. I was just curious is they were indeed in the used lots. I don't check the used lots much, so I wasn't sure if I just missed them or what. I can get everything on that list from the dealerships w/ no mileage (a sneaky cheat I learned).

The problem cars are the ones I CAN'T get from the dealerships... the sil, the mg f, the rx-8, etc. I've seen most of them in the used lots... but the goal is to get them with NO miles on them. Mint condition. Because I am an OCD Collector! Must.... have.....no....miiiiiiiiiilllllllleeeesssss!!! Must... get.....ALL.... LOL

When it comes to buying cars to be unlocked in Arcade Mode, I have a record for most ever bought without saving (in other words, not entering cars I bought). And that record is 19 for me. It used to be 11. I had enough money to get as many used cars in the game. Now sure, most of the other cars are variations of other cars, but still, 700 cars is 700 cars. Usually, I searched for each variation of Skyline, Lancer, Impreza, and even the pricey NSXes. I even searched for Mazda RX-7s.

My Finals are this week. I'm halfway done. So you can bet that when I'm all done this semester at my community college, I'll have a WHOLE bunch of time to play GT4 unlocking cars and such. Just hope to get as many cars as possible. And sure, completing all of GT4 isn't going to be an easy task. Even for me to be just over 70%, there are all sorts of cars to unlock.

By the way, you'll be REALLY lucky to find a car with over 6.2 miles on it. Be prepared, though. The 6.2 mile cars cost almost as much as its MSRP. So if a car costs about 45K Credits, chances are, it will probably be a few tens or hundreds off for its sale price.

I'm not sure what that means, but.... I have two games going... one's 100% completion with a TERRIBLE win/lose ratio. :yuck: I used it to test cars out and find particular settings. 💡 That game has almost every prize car in every color completely unused/unentered.

The other is 94% completion w/ 100% wins.

The gameplan is to complete the latter and then transfer all the unused cars to this garage so I can have all the cars and 100%. :sly:

How's THAT for OCD!!!??? :dopey:

And just for complete stupidity's sake, I'm racing 34 EXTRA races to match the 34 missions that don't count towards your win/lose ratio.

I'm HOPING to fill some voids in my colllection during those races. Anyone who wants to trade a gamesave and spare me the trouble is VEEEEEERRRRRY WELCOME to.

Well, the SilEighty and '97 MGF are prize cars for manufacturer events right? You should be able to pile up as many of those as you want... or am I missing a detail of your OCD plan? :)
