Fire the guy with the giant permanent light on the camera [1:30 - 3:06]. Right in the face! U MAD, BRO?

Yes, that was hardly necessary. It's dark in there, granted, but isn't flash a thing that one can use with a photo camera? Come on, people, pay attention.

On a different note, Kaz has some nice awareness of how to drive the Tomahawk X (it must be that car, I'm sure of it), which at least shows that he must've tested it in some description or another...

I was going by the flashing symbol under the tach... to be fair I don't know if that's SRF or TCS or what

To be fair, I didn't really check that one. But I think that the Tomahawk is hardly a sliding car, so I bet it must be the TCS. Or not, who knows?

Edit: Come to think of it, it probably isn't the Tomahawk in the first place, but in fact the Peugeot. As you see Kaz boot up the track, you can see three previous set times with that car, so...

He was probably filming. But he was quite pushy. From the left, right from the center above the screen (really?) and from the right.

Very challenging conditions: like towards very low sun

Still, it's an annoying thing to have while driving. It's the mini equivalent of driving towards the sun in Willow Springs, really. It also doesn't help that he was moving all over the place with the light...

Still can't wait for the Ford VGT, as you probably can tell by my profile picture. By the looks of the artwork in the game, it will be some sort of hot rod car which i would absolutely love. I kind of wish it wasn't a coupe super car made under the company's signature design but rather something different... Like a hotrod, America's iconic type of car, other than muscle cars.

It's rather professional-looking for a fake VGT car, to be honest. But with already four VGT cars planned (the two VWs, the Lamborghini and the Audi), I don't think that the VAG Group will bother to use yet another brand to create a VGT project. Still, it's an interesting concept; a combination of the Mitsubishi XR-PHEV VGT and the body of a Fabia. It fits the VGT guidelines, if anything...

Not all quality work was paid for, just as not all compensated work is good.

Quite. But when you don't work for any specific car company and/or group, you can't really expect any sort of payment (unless it was an outsourced design). Quality can't really be tied to paychecks, sometimes.

Good - but not as good as the Skoda Cake Car.

Sorry for the upbeat singing.

Om nom nom, a nice slice of cylinder head gasket...

I found pic of maybe the Honda VGT here: http://www.tf1.fr/tf1/auto-moto/news/honda-un-mysterieux-concept-sportif-fuite-0040132.html

Numerous released VGTs have strayed greatly from their original teaser image(s), Honda's may end up being purely electric with no defined engine position--think hub motors--or even something designed for off-roading.

So then,

The Tomahawk(s)

Umm.. I think the most astonishing thing so far is actually the deceleration on the X. If you get it wrong on the way in to a corner at 120mph, you can still jam on the anchors, and get it to a virtual stop before leaving the track!

I also approve of the livery and colour options for all three.

...

I don't much like these VGT's, but fair play to SRT.. they've done a great job.

So the deceleration on the X is good? Thank god, screwing up that department would be suicidal on a car like that, especially with all the horsepower and speed it carries. I'm going to fire the PS3 (hopefully the maintenance should be over by now) to try to get a few laps with each Tomahawk. But so far, it seems to be a good car...

Tomahawk S

If you win it and paint it in GTS blue with white stripes - if you paint it you get a white cabin area as a single lozenge (A Ferrari shade of Red will let you get a 1978 style Ferrari 312T3 livery - well sort of.)

And you can even paint the wheels Gold for a retro 60's feel!

For anyone who hasn't driven the Tomahawk X it's basically a vehicle that acts like a peacock, spits flames, sounds like a dirtbike, and goes 350mph. Pretty neat 👍
