Walkers seem to be the typical slow moving targets that they have much practice with, though they don't have to be experienced of being shot at. Even if the group is kind of use to it, why are they missing?
That doesn't really make any sense, though. They can hit slow moving Walkers, yet even GOAT-Daryl can't hit someone standing still in a field?

What I can't believe is that no one killed Michonne once the fight started.

Though he assumed that it was 50 meters for the Governer? IMO, I wouldn't want to focus too much unless I am behind some protection better than a fence.

It's not just 1 specific instance. From Season 2 to now, it's been this way. As said, I find it adds some humor to the show, so no, I don't focus on it at all.

During that episode, I was hope there was some sort of friendly-fire during Michonne's barrel roll session.

Shocked at 4x04. Wow, a rather slow episode but impressive.

I felt it was the right time for Carol to leave. To me it had been a long time coming when she would eventually mess up. Or die. There would have never been a way for her to stay at the prison after what she did. If Carol did return to the prison the truth would have come out sooner or later. Leaving, even if forced to, was the most rational thing that could have been done. Come to think of it, Tyreese still doesn't know she was the one who killed Karen (and David).

Didn't Rick tell her or did they get interrupted ?

Rick and Daryl were about to tell Tyreese, when he insisted they check out a mutilated rat he'd found. Then the tank fired at the prison.

Carl is the new male Andrea.
I honestly hoped that Z would bite his leg.

Carl was 🤬 annoying.
He had kind of a redemption at the end. But I don't think he will be any less annoying.
I don't understand. Do they need cara that everybody just hates.
He's even more annoying than in the comics.

I wouldn't mind Carl getting shot in the face:P

The Michonne story arc was cool.

Eh. So long as he knows it's not quite so easy going solo and after venting his frustrations at an unconscious Rick, I don't have much of a problem with him right now. Apart from his sub-'Walking Dead'-level aim.

Thoughts on the mid season premier? Other than Carl hates chocolate pudding .

I just expected him to be a bit more mature after the whole prison experience. Especially survival, but also in not beeing a freakish child, moaning and crying. I get the Judith part. but not the whole farmer, you could have should have.

Without Rick, the whole group would probably never made it out of the ditch from season 1.

Consider the current situation. Having just lost the prison which was their secure home for almost a year in such traumatic circumstances, being separated from the rest of the group for the first time in nearly two years and coming to terms with the real possibility that his sister - who his mum pretty much gave her life for - was also among the dead, I can understand his lapse in composure. He may have seem some 🤬 since the very start, but it can be overwhelming at times. I mean he is still a kid after all.

After losing the prison, it seemed like he wanted to prove to himself more than anything that he could finally go it alone. Everything up to the point where he realised he probably wouldn't last long on his own boiled into the outburst at Rick. Either Carl knew Rick couldn't hear him and he simply needed a way to vent, or he was hoping it would stir him to wake up. Then it was then topped off by his emotional breakdown when he thought Rick had turned. Even with a gun in hand he felt helpless, especially when he'd already put down one of his parents for good.

Hopefully the reality check will benefit him, Rick and whatever group they form by the end of this season.

Another great episode. I really need to read the comics.

Don't do it until the series is over.
The comics are so much more graphic and saddening.
The story is far more brutal.
Definitely worth reading but as a fan of the show I would wait until the show has run its course (unless that last for several more years).

Finally got confirmation on Judith's status. Glad I wasn't wrong about what happened to her.

And that last scene was taken straight from one of the comics. Awesome.

So I'm confused, that last walker on the bus, was it glen? It was wearing black with similar hair and Maggie collapsed back into the chair after killing it. Yet then we see the scenes from the next episode and he's still in it.

I reckon she would have been far more dismayed if that really was Glenn. Instead it looked like she was upset because she still hadn't found him, plus he was never on the bus when it left apparently.

Apart from that, it's clear now more than ever that Lizzie has some serious issues. Killing rabbits for no reason (I assumed that they were food, but she didn't take them when they had to leave) which brings back memories of the rat feedings back at the prison. And almost smothering Judith...

Now I wouldn't be at all surprised if Carol really did take the fall for her when Tyreese and Rick found Karen and David's burnt remains.

^Lizzy had the rabbits in the bag( the small rabbits would not sit naturally in a rooten tree). I think she leaves a trail for the Walkers or she thinks she must feed them.

Lizzy and Judith, man scary scene. And Carol, I though it was just an hallucination.

Good episode 👍

On the comics, I started binge reading them after season 2. Never regretted spoiling the show for it.

You can see the remains of both bunnies left in the log after Beth and Daryl find the other group's footprints. Looked like Lizzie was just checking her bag before leaving rather than putting anything in it.

Also, if Lizzie and Mika is the TV series' equivalent of Ben and Billy from the comics, Mika better watch her back.

On Lizzy and rabbits, what I meant to say was Lizzy had the live rabbits in the bags and put them there, then sliced them open. Rabbits don't nest in old tree logs. They built underground. The girl is seriously deranged, but as to why she does it? Does she feed the Zeds, or something other??

So "Claimed". Anyone's ideas on it.

The Rick scenes were really tense, and cutting them with the quiter moments made a hell lot of suspense.
Carl was again a bit annyoing for me... Asking Michonne the tons of questions and seemingly not undestanding why it wasn't appropriate while he is in the same case.... But Carls cara is heading in the right direction I hope. I like the way they take with Michonne.

The bit of Humor was a great addition.
Humor becomes a fundamental coping mechanism in those dire circumstances. I'm not expecting Rick to suddenly turn into a stand-up comic ("Humans dial the phone like this... and walkers dial the phone like this..."), but even an occasional moment of lightness before the bleakness is welcome. Hope they keep up with a bit of this.

Seems like the new show running is listening to the fans (Michonne, more on Roads,...)

Abraham and Eugene scenes were cool too. Eugene shooting  .
But one thing that bugs me, if someone in those world conditions would say they have the cure or solution to put an end to all this. And there onyl further explanation is classified, I would break his face until he tells it all. Because confidentiality in the apocalypse is a huge pile of crap

So the baddies at the house
ixxboo.jpg

the lenghts I had to go throu to find that pic (made it myself now)
He is a higher class actor(Jeff Kober), so I don't think he will be shot down immediately. So we will see this group back for sure.
The guy that got choked, is he dead? Or was his slight moving after just "bad" acting or poor cutting??

The whole scence with Rick had a Die hard feeling to it which was awesome. (was Rick "barefoot" ?)

I would have loved if Rick, Michonne and Carl would have waited for dusk and then clearing the house. It would have given them so many weapons, ammo, ....

Now for the group baddies, major comic spoilers ahead...

You've been warned (spoiler tags not working)

Is he Negan??, which would blender story arcs of the comics in a wierd way together as Negan came way later. That would explain a quite high tier actor playing the role which is the pic I posted.
Or it could simply be the cannibals, which I don't really believe due to the casting. If it's Negan I hope Glen can hide well. It would be too soon. I like Glen. His death in the comics was one of the most gruesome death I have seen. Such a big impact... ( that's where I left of in the comics anyway, something in the first 100)
What do the other Comic book readers think of it??

Its one comic i would love to read but hard to get in uk i believe, cant even find an ebook version. Did like the last ep, showed that michonne is human, carls growing up and rick still has cop instincts. Everyone will find everyone else (alive or dead)

@Youngun comiXology has all the digital copies available. Either in volume form or individual chapters, plus specials and extra issues.

The only physical copies I've seen were at conventions. And they didn't appear to have more than a few volumes in stock.

@Wiegert i have seen a few but im not even sure hiw many and how far they go, same with kick ass comics. Friends says they get together with a kid but the latest copy i found, they were still young she was still running. Even WD wise, i haven't found one past season 2 story line. So want to no how far it goes now.

I don't think Negan is has been shown yet, he'll make a major impact the second he shows up and when he does it's not going to be with a few of his buddies, it's going to be many of his people and that bat of his.
I also feel like it's going to be at least the end of the season before Negan is brought in, the story would be progressing too quickly if they were to bring Negan in any time sooner than the season finale.

My guess is that we'll have a season finale that introduces the threat after everyone has found their way to the safe zone. 👍
