Phoenix will be a mess if it hits. Actually, the valley as a whole will probably be a mess if that hits Arizona. My sister will be in the thick of it since she lives in Tempe. I wish you guys luck cause it'll be bad if it makes landfall there.

Media says today is going to be the hottest day of the year, and I give them a point.. 38°C :scared:

But temps should start to get cooler from now on, they also said. :D

First little bit of rain has started from Hurricane Odile (now a Tropical Cyclone). Worst of it starts tomorrow through Thursday. This leads to doing a whole lot of nothing at work...

Not expecting anything too interesting since my area never sees any extreme weather, but it's sprinkling now.

You're just now starting to get what came though here, but it's about half the size now. The next bit coming through tonight might not be so light.

There's a freaking class 2 Hurricane coming.

Depending on the path it'll take, it may barely hit , not hit at all or pass right through the city

It is cloudy now... I'm scared, it rarely rains in Summer, let alone a tropical storm, they never reach so far to the north

Dude I totally forgot you were over there. Odile barely missed you. How waz it?

So far this hurricane is rather calm and nowhere near what they said it would be like. Looks like crap outside, but the ground is still dry...

Lots of clouds :irked:. Didn't help with the heat we had yesterday (39°C), it's 7 a.m. right now and it's 27°C already :scared:

Crazy how much the weather changed in 1 week during the bro week. When the vacation started it was around 85 degrees. Now we are around upper 60s with 40s at night. I have already been feeling the depression kicking in during the cold mornings. The colder weather really kills me. :nervous:

Supposed to be in the mid 60s today with a low of 40 (F). I sure picked a terrible night to have to be outside for hours. Guess I'll have to bundle up....

So the National Weather Service is saying that what is left of the hurricane will travel up into Arizona like so:

But I'm watching this thing on radar move more to the east like so:

And it's quite sunny outside right now. Not sure what to believe at this point.

First rain in 3 weeks and I missed it. Had a thunderstorm last night that was gone by morning. I thought it might break dry and humid weather we'd been having (75-78°f) but it's actually made it more humid. Last night it didn't dip below 65°f either. Not complaining though as at least the lawn is green again.

FINALLY! A break in the HORRIBLE weather!

Right now, 12AM it's just 78° when the same time the last few night's it's been in the low 90's high 80's! A real cooling trend! I actually went outside to smoke a stogie and didn't end up in a pool of sweat! Haven't gone outside to do that in about a week!

Yesterday, was still horrible, though. 101° and very high humidity. Since it's cooler right now, that means later today will be much cooler. About damn time!!!

21°C right now, a little bit of rain in the morning, which is weird for September

Media says today is going to be the hottest day of the year, and I give them a point.. 38°C :scared:

Fun fact: The minimum temperature of the day that post was made is 5 celsius higher that the temperature right now.

So the forecast said that it was suppose to be a 20% chance of rain today...

This morning, it POURED down raining and about 20 minutes ago, it rained again in certain sections around town.

This is what a 20% chance of rain means. Approximately 20% of the coverage area (think how far out they cover weather for) will definitely get some rain. It would make sense that your immediate area got a lot of rain with a 20% chance as the atmospheric systems that cause rain tend to run in lines or bubbles.

Much cooler weather yesterday. About 84° but felt much hotter on account of the high humidity. But, it's starting to dry out, but the temps are going back up! Mid to high 90's expected in a few days. Today's high, mid-high 80's.

Currently in the mid 60s today with a high of 80° F. However, there is a good chance of at least 20 mph winds, and there is also a chance of thunderstorms later today.
