I'm in Redmond it was funny because it had snowed a little and then about 2 or 3 hours later we got 4 inches over the course of about 30 minuets and now at 10:30 the sky is clear blue and its sunny and its ****ING COLD!! and last night my dad left work at 6:00 and it took him 2 hours to get home and work is only 4 and a half miles away he said that people where stopping in the middle of the road to put their chains on yea some people are really dumb.......
Now I'm totally confused. I was in Seattle until about 5:30 (that's when we left). It snowed for half an hour, and nothing stuck. A while later, in downtown, there was still no snow. Blue skies. At about 6:30, we hit a jam on 509, never backed up. We finally caught up to the snow and it accumulated from there. Finally got home at 8:00 with three inches. Five this morning. Seattle schools were closed. I had heard that us in the south were the worst hit. Did another storm sneak in last night?
This morning I went out biking. That was really fun going down hills. Couldn't go straight because I was correcting the whole way.
You Denverites. Making our cool storm seem like nothing. Geez.
Denver might have a little bit more snow, but they can't match our balmy -42C this morning (again)!

Indeed, although it's -14C (7F) right now, and tomorrow's high is -12C. And it's snowing again.
Two days ago, I was in short pants sweating my balls off in 86 degree weather, and today, it's snowing!
SoCal, baby!
I have never been in proper minus temperatures like that, I must experience it one day.
Stick your head or hands in a freezer for about 10 min and you'll know. Get a fan and switch it on because you need "wind" too.I have never been in any minus temperatures, and it's hard to imagine something like -10.
it was about the high 20's today, but very windy.
I'm sure you probably have been in the minuses, occasionally we have had -1 to -2C here in Adelaide, though, at night time.I have never been in any minus temperatures, and it's hard to imagine something like -10.

Sweating alot in 86F?????????
Not really; it was just a figure of speech. Once, over the summer, it was 110+ degrees every day for a week with 85+% humidity every day. Now that's hot.
Just a slight dusting. Didn't stick to anything bare. Just couldn't sled well because the ice was covered.
I have a very low temperature toleration. I start to get uncomfortable around 80ºF. At 90º, things get unbearable and I go inside. I'm so glad I live in Seattle. Cold is no problem. You East coast guy talk of running about in Shorts. I'm about the only one here in shorts, in the Snow. Got my sweatshirt and I'm fine.
Where exactly are you? Manitoba?
I thought -8C and -13C with wind chill was cold!
God, I'm going to Winnipeg on Thrusday. It's going to be hideous.
As for the weather 'round here, The first major snowfall is about to take place (Thank God?) And I'm working during the entire thing? Lame.
