So, the storms were so bad yesterday that when I left work I found a bug that got smashed on the windshield....while it was parked. I guess they weren't kidding about 50-60mph sustained winds.

I was going to say that there was a distinct lack of color by Fargo but when I quoted you, it showed up, however it doesn't show when I reload...

Edit: And now it's back to being gone. Talk about annoying. Anyway, lightning, thunder (quite loud and rumbly, too!) and rain in Fargo right now.

76°F and sunny, and a little breezy. It's perfect weather, and not needing to have the AC on is nice since it's been either hot and humid or raining for the past several days.

Here in Michigan, we call that temperature December and January. During that time, I call that temperature sweatshirt weather. Then again, 0°C is 32°F, and during our winters, it often gets well below 0°F.

Last night was the 3rd day this week for a brief down pour and thunder. It wasn't as dramatic as the other days. Looks like it'll rain later.

We're under flash flood watch through Saturday night. I guess the hurricane off the coast of Baja California is messing with things in the area. So far it's been partly cloudy, but some usual monsoon storms are popping up in some areas. 70% chance of rain tomorrow, hopefully that rings true. Been disappointing so far.

Rained the entire day. Flash floodings while being hit with wild fires. Only in SoCal.

Temps are still hot, but the raid water cools down the air something more comfortable. Low-mid 90's but the weather is clearing. Still a bit humid, but no thundershowers.

National Weather Service predicted up to 70% chance of rain in my area over the weekend with a flash flood watch and all we got were sprinkles. Really disappointed.

Also, I-10 between California and Arizona is closed right now due to a bridge collapse from flooding. Detour is I-8.

Saw that on the news. That guy got pretty banged up but will be OK.

But, it's nothing what those stuck in the Cajon Pass during that fire. Stupid decision by the fire captain in charge to block their way through without the ability to take an exit off somewhere.

Stormy weather in Poland recently. Last week we had a storm whose strength was like nothing I've ever seen. Although moderately windy, the rain was stunning, I couldn't see blocks of flats 100 meters away from mine.

The videos below come from Zajezierze near Dęblin. The storm came, it rained for a bit, and it was done. But as it was leaving, you could see some really astonishing lightnings. I've never seen lightnings like that in my life so it was doubly satisfying to record them! On the other hand, I missed some absolutely amazing ones because of the limitations of my phone's internal memory storage

Now, my apologies for this being 6 separate videos but I have no video editing software other than Windows Movie Maker, which just won't cooperate with me now and will corrupt each video's beginning if I try to glue them together...
