It's been announced that this winter will be a tough one, plenty of rain and colder than last year, with the possibility of snowy days.

This city is not prepared for such weather conditions!

The "first" storm of the season is going to get here later today with heavy precipitation, and the temperatures will drop from the 30's we've been having lately to low 20's as the max temperatures for the next couple of days.

I hope you guys stay safe over there.

Snapped this tonight as the sun was going down. The storm cell in this photo is currently giving Phoenix a pounding.

Was getting gas when I started to notice some gusts of wind... by the time I had to get out to take out the nozzle, it was raining sideways. Naturally I went drifting afterwards, but I think this is one of those flash floods my phone used to warn me about every single time it rained. lol

Harsh winter here means my car will either be buried in snow or coated in an impenetrable layer of ice.

It amazes me how much average weather in a region can affect their perspective on the idea of harsh. Atlanta shuts down over 2 inches of snow and people in Kentucky laugh. Kentucky shuts down with ten inches of snow and people near the Canadian border laugh.

Wow, much need rain today. Rained all night long, and morning! We could use a lot more of that. Cooled the place down, too. Late Summer rain storms smell so nice, too.

Low 80's today and tomorrow, but climbing back up again. Mid-high 90's expected for the weekend. I hope the humidity is gone by then.

Media says today is going to be the hottest day of the year, and I give them a point.. 38°C :scared:

But temps should start to get cooler from now on, they also said. :D
I looked for this post to show the contrast from last year to today.

Today's max was a 23°C and it hasn't stopped raining since last night (Should be over by tomorrow morning).

The next couple of days will see similar temps, but then they will get back to the normals of September (30-ish).

Mid 90's at the moment here, will slowly creep back up to 100*F by Saturday. The chances of rain the last couple days produced nothing. :(

It has been around 70 / 80 during the day and around 50 at night. Fall is in the air around here big time. Almost all my Hibiscus have died and a lot of my other flowers are just about at the end of their life cycle. Even the Morning glories are slowing down flower production. Leaves are changing. Fall weather is almost here. Wont be long before we are in the 40s then first frost. Bad because I worked an insane amount of hours this year and missed "enjoying" the summer. :( Good because I don't feel as guilty about gaming when it is cold out. :)

Ever heard of drastic weather changes?

Yesterday's storm was pretty rough, and the one that is supposedly coming is worse.

More cooler temps, less humidity. Feels like Fall, for a change. But, heat is going up. tomorrow. At least it wont be humid, like it's been. Low 80's today, low-mid 90's tomorrow.

EDIT: Screw what I said. It's HOT today, man! It was so nice and cool in the morning when I posted this, but the heat jumped like 25° in just a few hours. About 96° today. 100-102° for the next two. Humidity is going to stay. Here we go again. Bleh.

Hovering around 100*F here the next couple days and then it looks like we'll be getting a storm rolling through on Monday-Tuesday that will drop us into the 80's. Woot.

Snapped this on my way home tonight.

Been on the cool side and wet side the past few days.
Long rang should have warmth back.
@TB We should have a nicer winter (warmer) this year and dry. So we shouldn't complain right.

This "direct hit" from the tropical depression they were predicting ended up being a minor glancing blow. Instead of flooding rain we're getting sprinkles.

107° yesterday. It was horrible. Heat and humidity is not fun.

Less humid today, thankfully. Also, lower temps by a good 10-12° today, so feels a lot better than yesterday, but still hot and humid. It's almost October and we're having this weather? Disgusting.
