According to this, the desert southwest and mainly Arizona should be seeing quite a bit of moisture through the next few months. Woohoo.

Last Friday, 96F.
Earlier this week, low 60s and rainy.
Today, a perfect sunny and 75F.
Tomorrow, 86F.

Why is it always hot when I'm helping someone move?!?

Maybe mother nature hates you (or maybe everyone). When it comes to me she has mixed feelings :boggled:

The beginnings of a dust storm.

Unfortunately this one passed over and the storm that created it really didn't move anywhere and is now dissipating.

This morning it was rainy but it cleared up. Looks like rest of today and tomorrow will be decent.

It's still windy though, current temp is 52°F.

Had this same discussion about this time last year. That time of year again, summer is just about over. Was 88 and sunny last week. Now in the 50s and leaves are starting to change colors. Summer and the hot weather are my favorite time of the year. Unfortuantely this year I spent dang near 60 hours every week working all summer including the majority of the Saturdays. While the money was nice, summer slipped right by this year for me. Didn't get to spend anywhere near as much time outside in the hot sun as I normally like to. :(:guilty:

Low to mid 70's all this week, and clear. Perfect for me.

Nights get a little cool though, down in the 50's.

We have had a tornado this week, and for today we have an actual tornado warning, a small warning but still. It's the first time I've ever heard of a warning in my country.

If there happens to be a tornado on the ground, then there are not really any precautions you need to take, unless the forecasters name the nearest major cross street. Then you might want to take some precautions. Otherwise, sit outside, drink, and watch as it goes by.

Though, the above advice may only apply to Oklahoma. We have ridiculously good tornado weather coverage. Some of the weather coverage has even been made into a drinking game.

Yeah, I've stated it before but I'll say it again.

I'm the idiot who will be sucked into the tornado or gets struck by lighting because it's awesome to be outside during such events.

After about 2 1/2 days of wind and rain, with heavy rain at times, it's kind of decent now

Mostly to partly cloudy NNE winds at 10 mph, temp is 55°F

It's currently 66°F and cloudy. It's nice to have the windows open and be able to give the AC a break.

Lots happening around us at the moment, seems to be another "bubble" over the valley.

Arrows pointing at a south bound dust storm that you can see on radar.

Yeah, it was looking pretty dark just past the McDowells earlier, but now it's starting to get overcast over my house (~8 miles west of the mountains).

Here's an update. Nasty cell coming down into Sun City that is severe warned. Bit more popping up, but all the stuff south of I-8 which is in my area refuses to pass over the highway. :grumpy:

Low 100's with high humidity the past week, but getting cooler. Today was 102°, but will be 7° cooler tomorrow and 11° more by Wednesday.

It was a bit cool and rainy over the weekend. Perfect weather for a lan party. Stayed inside and played games ALL weekend with friends and family. :)
