The Phoenix area is getting pounded right now. Sky Harbor Airport is at a standstill due to heavy rain and winds. Severe storm warnings and a flash flood warning all over the area. Wish I was there right now! Meanwhile my area (Casa Grande) getting tons of lightning and some sprinkles.

I'm getting hit down here in CG right now. Might get off easy though compared to what Phoenix is dealing with right now. 35k without power so far.The weather's usually more mild here compared to Phoenix, but it was getting a bit windy a little while ago and now it's raining a good amount.
Edit: aaand now it's hailing.
Yeah my work is south east of Maricopa and we got hit hard from both the dust storm and rain afterwords for almost an hour. These storms the past couple days have refused to go very far north, I assume you guys got nothing on Thursday.@R1600Turbo, did you get a dust storm on Thursday? I was driving down to Chandler and Gilbert when the sky started looking brown in the distance and everything past the freeway started to get obscured by a fog.
It was super hot today. The temp on my car said it was 108° outside and I believe it. Right now, 12:20 AM, it's 85°!We're supposed to be 102*F today, but it's cloudy and there's still some moisture being pulled across the area from Hurricane Linda just west of Mexico, so some showers scattered around at the moment.
Supposed to be 94 here today, 30% chance of rain. Loving it.It was super hot today. The temp on my car said it was 108° outside and I believe it. Right now, 12:20 AM, it's 85°!
This is so damn wrong!!!!
Stepped outside just a moment ago to put the mail in the mailbox and by the time I sat back down inside, I was drenched in sweat. Very hot, very humid. I though this crap was over and done with.Supposed to be 94 here today, 30% chance of rain. Loving it.
We're expecting above normal rainfall from the El Nino, and I'm looking forward to it.And I thought after a terrible summer we would at least have a warmer or milder winter...

If you listen carefully, you can hear Nathan Rao having a meteorological "crisis" at the prospect of another record-breaking cold winter.
