Argh.

It's still a week out, but the high next Wednesday is a blistering 1F. :nervous:

@TB when are you going back to Hawaii and can I please come with?

Hot and windy. What over the past year or so has basically become the new normal. Is it Thursday yet?

First week of February. Three bedroom condo that sleeps 6 with only 4 of us going!

Oh good. I call one of the extra beds.

What's Hawaii like this time of year? Sleeping outside could be pleasant.

No offence @Northstar.
I've only ever been in, plus or minus a few weeks, February when it's usually upper 70's to low 80's during the day and in the 60's at night. So it's basically perfect.

I am small enough take me as a carry on @TB
I'll pencil you in as first reserve at the condo but you'll have to get yourself there. As designated pack mule, my carry on is always full.

Sounds it.

Meanwhile most of New South Wales is choked with a haze from all of the bush fires happening around the state. I couldn't be more jealous.

Area schools have already posted they'll be starting two hours late tomorrow. I'm betting Fargo won't, though. :irked:

It's bright and sunny here. It's also 0F and dropping, looks can be very deceiving. :yuck:
I'm at a lovely -4F (feels like -20!) and dropping. And no clouds.

Tonight is supposed to drop to -22, plus the windchill, so tomorrow morning will be even better!

@TB

I have a heat wave of 4F (Feels like -12F)

Tonight for me a balmy -12F with a small windchill of up to -25F

Meanwhile, I'm at 66F. The coldest point of the morning doesn't even reach lower than mid 40'sF. I literally can't even imagine what you guys are feeling because living here I'll likely never get close to that lol.

To think I felt cold waiting at the train station when it was 2°c/35°f at the weekend

It's basically when you walk outside the air hurts your face.
And it makes your eyes water, which then, obviously, freezes to your face.

Let's not forget about your breath condensing on your facial hair, too. :ill:

Snowed a bit overnight so I started shoveling when I got home. With each pass of the shovel on the driveway, I could feel the temperature dropping.

If I would have stopped shoveling, it wouldn't be so cold out now.

Because I have that kind of power.

High tomorrow is 1, with the wind, it'll feel A LOT colder than that.

Last couple of days have been pretty decent. Low thirties and comfortable nights. Next week looks fun though...

It's not even 11am yet and the mercury has already hit 43.1°C here in Adelaide. Unfortunately for my wife her work Xmas show is at Kent Town where it's already 43.8 °C .
