Going to be a decent week temperature wise. Looks like the heat is returning just in time for New Years though. Typical.
Fingers crossed for some rain and not so much of the thunderstorm part, tomorrow. Lightning is not good considering how dry everything is.

Last night it was 46°F, which was the record for New Year's Eve

Haven't been affected by any, so far (knock on wood). Where I am isn't close to any big national parks thankfully. It's pretty open country. If something was to happen, it hopefully won't be as bad as some of the big fires on the coast of NSW and Vic. Fingers crossed anyway...

So far so good mate, kangaroo island is getting the worst of it and the Adelaide Hills copped a lot a few weeks ago.Haven't been affected by any, so far (knock on wood). I live in a small town called shea-oak log, which is mainly farm land so I will have plenty of time to get out is I need to.

The pictures in that link are all within walking distance of my apartment, thankfully I'm not at risk but other's are. It certainly caused me to take a second look when crossing the bridge on my way home though.
