Currently 40 and under a blizzard warning.
Looking at now 6-9 inches of snow.
Temps dropping to near 15 by 5 so flash freeze is quite likely.
I sure bet @TB @Northstar @Cowboy are all enjoying this.

We don't have much snow but it's blowing like a sonuvabitch so visibility is way down.

And even though campus and schools are closed and the kid's appointment was cancelled, I still have to venture out to go to the pharmacy. :irked:

Briefly saw a gust of 61 mph there.
Hey if you get a kite you should be able to make great time. ;)

Rain, rain and more rain. Luckily it is not cold.

Also, "coincidentally" when I checked the DOT road conditions the roads within a 15 mile radius of my work were labeled as "seasonal". Yeah, right :grumpy:

I couldn’t see more than about 5 feet on the way home, at one point it was about 1’. :yuck:

On the bright side we will be getting a white Christmas after all as it won’t get anywhere near warm enough to melt any of the snow tomorrow.

That's about what it was here, too. Fortunately most of the time it was 40 feet or so sonit wasn't too bad.

Blizzard warning continues....
Said 5-10 inches....
Currently 1-1.5 inches of wet slop.
Not much in the way of well snow.

Had some snow recently. It's been often sub-zero temperatures. It doesn't feel too cold so was surprised by a car door not opening due to the weather.

Finally got a decent snowfall here. We got around 4" overnight, and another 2-3" expected today.

Then after the snow comes the cold air.

All the snow of the last few days is gone. It getting a little bit warmer tomorrow. It's around 5°C today.

Feels like -43? Have fun with that. It's supposed to get down to -8 next Saturday where I live if Apple's weather app is accurate in any way.

We had brown snow in Salt Lake. That's a new one for me, but apparently, the winds were pretty wicked in the Nevada desert and kicked up a ton of dust into the atmosphere, which in turn dumped snow that looked like a mochaccino. My car is a disaster.

-10°F outside now, colder than what was forecasted last night for this time. Looking ahead, we have a full week+ of this, plus snow almost every other day.

A couple of photos from around my work this morning...

Glasgow University main building...

Ashton Lane... usually a bustling street full of cosy bars, it is indeed a sad sight to walk through it these days and see all of these great places closed. Today, however, it looks quite pretty in the sner.

A couple more with a vintage filter added...

It's supposedly going to hit -9°C tonight in Glasgow, and hitting -20°C in Braemar in the Cairngorms tonight...

My current 14day forecast has no temperatures above 0°C in it. It doesn't get warmer than -5° until next weekend.

Well if my 1°C daytime for the next few days is the best around, I'll take it! Forecast a balmy 10°C next tuesday... but no doubt that involves rain

/end of utterly unremarkable English winter weather report. Suffice to say: Storm who? Darcy? Never heard of it!

The local owls are noisy tonight, must be taking advantage of the clear conditions. Always smile when I hear their wuh-wuh-wuh-wooing :)

This sounds disgusting, I may have Google'd it. :ill:

But also

It's too cold for too long in St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area.

The end of the month looks good but I'm getting really tired of the below zero highs. And we're only half way through them. :irked:
