Car isn't really hard to just drive but it's hard to push hard because it oversteers in, tightens up in the middle then oversteers coming out of corners.

It's all over the place, what a mess.

In my best lap so far T1 has been 1'01.9xx.

And I'm sorry if I choosed not so mainstream combo.. but I really think that if you fight this through, you'll get something back.... :) ..no pain, no gain.. ;)

edit: ..one thing I will make is to save the top 5 videos and watch them as a replay... (usinng bumber view+hud) ..note the throttle and brake.

This is Arcade time attack so S2's and World Wide!! :)

2'20.796

..and I blew it in the 2 last corners!!!! :ouch: Still learning the optimum thing for each corner... :)

Tenth by the way.. :D

In my best lap so far T1 has been 1'01.9xx.

Then its my T1 I need to improve upon; the 3 sec difference between our lap times lend itself to the fact that my T1's are ~1'03.500...

My personal problem with it has nothing to do with wheel spin, which barely applies on arcade mode, since it's a lot less powerful than the one used for 600pp races.
It's about the stupidly low grip on the rear on too many situations, due to weight transfer. You don't even have to be pushing hard to have the rear disappear from behind you.
Next to this car, driving the GT LM on 750pp races is a child's play.

Anyway, I've dropped my time a bit and on another attempt I was gaining 0.6s on T1 alone, so I might try to get this one at least to low 2:22's, if there are enough sedatives around the house.

Really? I must be really used and trained to the Corvette as I find this car incredibly easy to drive.

2.21.510 YAY! I know I can get more.. Best time in T1 was 1'02.3

Damn, down the ladder I go.:sly:

Holden, it sure feels really easy, until you begin to drive it at the pace needed to top 20.

edit: ..so I agree with Earth.. :)

Hey, I still don't understand how your times are possible!:( I feel as if I'm going almost as fast as the car will go and then realise I'm still a number of seconds slower than the fast guys.:guilty:

I followed Timppaq's ghost this morning for a few laps... I was with him to the 2nd apex of the first turn, then he just pulled away. By the approach to Spoon I could harly see him!

I have no idea how he gets so much drive out of the corners without losing grip!

Well I can't hide it as you can watch the replay.. .:) ..but I still was 0.1xx slower on the T1 than the 2 fastest dudes on the list.

Which means you're losing around 0.6 or so on the other 2 sectors... Spoon I assume? Such a tricky corner to get spot due to the negative camber on the exit.

I lost .2 at least at the chicane... :( under 1'20.5 and I'm happy with this..

I have to Study El_Gregos's lap more (sorry, don't remember how it was spelled)

edit: Beerz, I'm gonna put a poll up, if you really should chance your avatar.. there's plenty on the Premium forum.. ;) ..It distracts me from racing... !!! 👍

I'm in with a 2'21.834? or something near there. I'll check and try again tonight.

I ran a 2'21.7xx earlier in the night, only to realize that times only get posted to the web when you are connected during your run.

All comes down to eliminating obvious oversteer in your runs. You would be surprised how much time you lose simply by oversteering the vehicle into a minor drift, especially on last corner of the S-bends.

2'21.333 for me. :indiff:

I'm afraid this car just doesn't want to talk to me, very unforgiving, and not what I consider an enjoyable car to drive. Mind you, that's no surprise because it was the same in earlier versions of the game and one that most OLR drivers would normally steer away from.

If I really had the desire to run this to my limit, I guess a possible 1'20.7 / 1'20.5 would be on the cards, but I'm afraid the desire just isn't there, so I'll make this my first and final submission.

Good luck all. 👍👍

You're checking GTP while racing?...
Thinking about it, you can probably read the newspaper while driving the NSX, so... ;)

Ok, gave it one more try over 3 laps and got a 2'23.047.
I honestly can't drive it longer than that before needing a bottle of Valium...

2'22.171

T1 of 1'02.892

This car doesn't really fit my driving style, you have to throw it around and I'm more of a smooth driver.
