I actually thought this thread was bumped by someone thanking Amir for all the info that has materialised so far. I guess i should have known better eh?

PS: Thanks Amir212 for the info what has came true so far. Also looking forward to thanking you again if number 3 and 5 do make the game. I will not hold it against you if they don't either

I am sure you will also get a few apologies from the over critical 'men' amongst us who resorted to name calling. I can't vouch for the rest of them though.

Picking one cause alone to match the effect you cite without providing a basis as for why you chose that cause and without considering any other causes before clinging onto the one you've picked is actually pretty much the text book definition of an assumption.

Not all of amar's prophecies have come true as of right now. The first one regarding the date doesn't seem true.

The fifth prophecy about having two versions of the game hasn't come true yet either...

1st, was probably the hardest to get right. PD have delayed and all sorts, we let him off with that one, but at the time, he was accurate.

5th, did you not hear about the special edition?

But he says "Greater reunion will ask for great sacrifice to be made in order to get all present and future treasures without new sacrifices needed", so the special edition, will cost more, but you will get all the current cars and future cars/tracks for free (maybe he means DLC?)...the special edition we know about includes a few extra cars but I don't really think it fits in with the prophecy that well.
 
We know PSN Premium is coming. The GT5 special edition could give you extra content without having PSN Premium. For those who have the 'normal' GT5 version a Premium account might be required to get access to all or some of the extra goodies. Time will tell.

Now what worries me is there is an ultimate edition on the French amazon website. Which is very pricey.

I think you got it wrong.

Fifth wind says that reunion will happen in two forms, one greater than other and birdtamers will have freedom to decide which reunion they will attend. Greater reunion will ask for great sacrifice to be made in order to get all present and future treasures without new sacrifices needed, while smaller reunion will come in form already known, asking for more sacrifices if future treasures catches the eyes of the birdtamers.

But, reading through the list of what the winds have said, sounds like most of them have been confirmed...all except the amount of tracks.
 
I think the first wind was probably right.

Last Christmas was mentioned by Jordan himself but something happened to delay it.

He has been absolutely spot on with the rest.
 
well, the first wind is still right. "30 days before he 12th month" is November. and November 2nd is even closer to that. It just was a year late. :P

The collectors edition is not something unusual, nor is something spectacular since now we know exactly what it includes. Extra money? Of course, since it's a collector edition...
To me 5-6 years of waiting to get 1) all the content with 2) no bugs and 3) no need for dlc (Kazunori himself said it in a few interviews) sounds more logic than a collectors edition.

Thanks Amar, obviously you risked a lot making vague statements in a bold effort to get us some information and I for one appreciate it, plus it was great fun speculating what you meant. :)

Kaz said nearly a year ago (5-6 months after Amar wrote cryptic the message) that DLC wasn't even being cosiderer for GT5. They wanted everything to be in the game since the beginning, with no flaws, just a complete game and that's exactly what they're doing (well...except the outrageous 800 standard cars:indiff:).
Could we get DLC someday? Who knows, but from what we've heard and seen it's not their plan. They already stated what the collectors edition will/will not include. I believe if they intended to include future "premium" content to the collectors edition they would have said it by now, and added it to the list (game+book+1:43 scale GTR+keyring+extra gt concept cars. People are already pre-ordering both versions of GT5.

I want to warn you that the Collector’s Edition has a limited run, so pre-order it quickly if you want to guarantee your copy.

If it is really that limited, it wouldn't be the "sacrifice" Amar is writing about. It would be just impossible.

Here in Italy Gamestop doesn't even know about collectors pre-orders. So what the hell...
