I've only now realized I've never actually tried this race with Gr4 cars. Toyota 86 Gr4 is a no stop easy win, this is my first try on stock suspension. I did a few trial laps with some other Gr4 cars, I like the way the Ferrari 458 Gr4 feels so I might do that next.

... just found this tune for the swaped 86 GT "Limited" 16. It's not a glitch tune imo. This ist just what happens, if you put the C7 ZR1 engine in this car :scared:

ROCKY5516 did a great job (thank's for providing the tune). Just be careful with the throttle (perhaps FM3 is an option) not to burn up the tires too early and care about the braking distance for the hairpin.

GT40 Mk.1 is a no-stop, but very tight on fuel. Short shift at around the halfway point on the game's shift bar and take turns 1-2 in 3rd and you're golden. Very easy to drive car, and imho it pays for itself once you get used to it and knock out a few runs. I was also quite pleased with how I was able to get into actual battles for position with some of the AI cars and having to actually think about how to get the position from them. Then once they all pitted, it was just a matter of keeping it steady and getting the checkered flag.

My pace could have been better, but for a first outing, a FL of 2:13.7 is not shabby at all.

No widebody. Using full aero options, custom rims with all wide options selected.

Toyota 86 GRMN '16. If you like to drive with TCS off and have some fun power sliding in the corners with minimal tire wear, this car is for you. There's definitely room for improvement as I only got a high 2:11 FL, but I was able to hit 190mph right before the hairpin. I had to pit for fuel around lap 10, but I feel like with some tweaking and a lower FM you might be able to make it all the way. I can post the tune later but it's basically all engine mods and the supercharger with the highest weight reduction.

Pretty much all the Gr.4 cars are well tested and easy winners. My favorite is the Lambo Huracan. It's 4WD and very fuel efficient. I Haven't used it for a while but I used to be able to finish the entire race without stopping on one set of SH tyres and a single tank of fuel.

No wall ride. Sports Hards. I’m turning consistent 2.07, 2.06s, with a best of 2.055 if I’m really burning. Forgot to mention must run manual trans, and shift between 6500-7000 RPM, as power band drops off a cliff, after that… and the fuel savings… It still understeers heavily, especially under power, but much more manageable and predictable than many other offerings.

Yeah the DP-100 is pretty well known for being a great car for this event.

The one thing you forgot to mention is to use a manual trans with this car, as so as the rev bar starts to turn red you gotta shift, car will go much faster and use,much less fuel.

This is a nice safe win,no wall riding,just pick your overtakes in the right places.Engine swap R33,Minimum weight,stock suspension,wide body mod,adjust power and aero to match.FM1 all the way and no stopping,plenty of fuel left over and the SH could probably last another 4 or so laps.
You could add more weight and increase the hp but theres not really any need,touches 200mph before needing to brake for the first corner.

Try it without doing a single wall ride.The Honda beat with engine swap is a real pocket rocket,if you take it steady you`ll be in 3rd place by the time its braking time for the first turn,then pick the other 2 of at your leasure,never looking back.i used SS and stopped at the end of lap 7 or 8 for tyres and fuel.Enjoy. 👍

2JZ Yaris can be fast too. I traded the slotted racing rotors for more hp but I think with some better driving you can dip into 2:07s.

Then run it with the standard downforce and weight on sport hards.

I'm pretty sure there isn't another car in the game that can match it.

Edit: put the custom suspension on as it handles a lot better with a bit of a tune

Edit: Also, buy a second XJ220 and build it with the bodykit and tune to 700pp..... because that's a guaranteed win everytime at the Le Mans 700 race.

Firstly you should know that I'm slow (but not terrible) and I wallride a lot.... now taking that into account I can manage to get into the 2:04's and just squeak into the 25 min racetime

Did a basic, mostly stock, tune of the C6 Corvette ZR1 for GV. Had fun with it so decided to try it at Tokyo.

It's actually a very stable and fun drive and a pretty easy win. Race time high 26s. Fastest lap 2:09.xx

I did this race without looking at your video first (hopefully it's still valid with the latest patch) but mine was a nostop FM1; I had to do FM3 for two laps with my setup to just make it. Tire wear was non existent though with SH, even if you powered out of the corners with a little bit of tailspin. I'd like to make up over 30s 😁

Edit: so I had the reverse where I had almost all power restrictor enabled with engine at 100, switched it so I had power restrictor at 100 with engine detuned. Coupled with less aero in the front I ran an initial hot lap of 2:11 so definitely room for improvement.

You should try the swapped Cupaccino, it can run 1.54's with a sub 25 minute race time (without wall riding) but it's hard on tires.

I used the`89 M3 engine swap.A good top speed but I found it awkward,couldnt get much grip with my set up and goes through tyres pretty quick.If somebody has a decent tune it might be a good choice but I personally found it a bit`tiring`to drive.Tyres and a splash of fuel at the end of lap 8.A win is a win though.
