Even with all the complaints, I stick to my original opinion that the X1 will outsell the PS4. Might not happen at launch but I think it will happen over time. Especially now that the X1 has dedicated servers and has a blu ray player (predicted that years ago). So it is really looking like the ultimate gaming / entertainment system in my opinion.

I am still waiting until 2014 to get the X1. Probably keep my 360 for a while but we will see. At that point I am not sure if I am just going to trade in my PS3 or keep it. I have only use it for blu ray and for a few exclusives like LBP, Uncharted, and KZ3. Now that the PS4 is charging for online (also predicted this) I will not be interested in a PS4 at all. If the online was still free then maybe but now there is just no way. Plus with the announcement that Titanfall is not coming to the PS3/PS4, that makes the X1 decision even easier. I just wont have any use for a PS4 next gen at all. However I will miss the few exclusives. And I mean very few.

Will you Puh-lease drop the whole smug, self worshipping, predictions crap? You make THE safest "predictions" and then praise yourself as if you're Michael Pachter.
You are just mad because you said I was going to be wrong with some of the predictions, yet I was right. Its just a prediction. Nothing to get worked up over. Also I do like the Puh-lease reference from Scrubs. Great show. 👍

USA only or worldwide?
Worldwide. Again, just a prediction, no big deal. Just a fun guessing game. If I am wrong, then I am wrong, if I am right, then I am right. Lets just hope this X1 is more reliable than the 360. What an unreliable pos this has been.

When did I say that?

I disagree in this case.

So the One will outsell the PS4 because of two features that the PS4 has as well? Interesting...

I respect your judgement. However, consider this: the Xbox One is unable to effectively run a game (COD Ghosts, Battlefield 4) that is supposedly last generation with better, however the PS4 can handle it no problem. So how will the Xbox One cope in the future? Games will be getting more advanced with graphics miles ahead of what we have currently, and the Xbox One struggling to render an upgraded 360 title probably won't be around by then IMO.

It is clear the Xbox One is harder to develop for too, so in a parallel to last generation, Xbox One will be the console getting the port overs. This is in part because Sony spoke with developers and asked them what stuff they would need, just like the 360 and MS did. However, MS is adopting a more complicated approach, betting their successes on the Azure cloud platform. From what we've seen so far, no 3rd party game we've seen is making use of the cloud, and neither are some 1st party ones (Ryse, Killer Instinct). So it is clear the PS4 is going to win developers over as it has the easiest architechture to develop on. Not only that, the more complicated architecture of the Xbox One has less power, meaning developers have even more of a reason to go with the PS4 being the lead platform for a great majority of titles.

In my opinion the Xbox One seems like the PS3 and the Wii U. The PS3 had the cell processor which was hard to develop for, but when used correctly delivered awesome games like Gran Turismo 6 and The Last of Us. The Wii U, like the Xbox One has a feature which developers make (may for Xbox One- seems highly likely) no use of, the second screen feature.

There is every reason to think the Xbox One is going to become the next Sega Dreamcast, it has complicated architecture, less power under the hood and features which developers won't spend their time and money on developing for, instead going for the platform which is easiest to develop for (and in this case, also has more power which is very easy for developers to access). This generation will see the return of the PlayStation brand to dominance, and I for one can't wait to see the greatness the PS4 has in store.

You were still wrong on your GTA V leaking prediction. Gameplay did not leak out a month early. So you're -1 on your predictions there.

A common opinion is Microsoft thought the had a big advantage over Sony with their 8GBs of DDR3. At that time Sony was going to release the PS4 with 4GBs of GDDR5. Sony pulled a fast one and went with 8GBs of GDDR5 at the last minute. Microsoft knew their GPU was weaker, but was banking on having double the memory to help even things out. Now with no memory advantage Microsoft is behind in all aspects of hardware.

Microsoft's biggest mistake is easy to see. Its the kinnect. Like the Wii U controller it needlessly boosted the price of an underpowered console. Microsoft wouldnt have caught so much heat if kinnect was optional and they launched at $399 or $349.

 What are the other options? DVDs? HD DVDs? No optical drive and digital distribution only?

He also predicted that it would run on electricity, and be sold by Microsoft. 3 for 3!

Seriously, though, Microsoft would never have done what Nintendo did and skip out on the Blu Ray licencing fees to save costs, so...

Looking great, but what's up with the slipstreaming a'la GT5 in the Dallara Indycar video?

Again, agree. Xbox One is a failure from day one. From the day it was announced with all the requirements and mandatory restrictions. The worst thing is that Microsoft still hasn't changed their policy towards game players.

In the future i will observe what games are worthy to buy Xbox One but for today nothing seems to grab attention the same way WatchDogs did. Shame it's delayed but will serve game good.

Dedicated servers dedicated servers dedicated servers. Dedicated servers dedicated servers, dedicated servers dedicated servers dedicated servers dedicated servers!
