Old news, I read all about this yesterday .
Henry claims it's because of Dein leaving and Wenger not commiting his future to the club. Personally, I tihnk he's become dissilusioned with Arsenals lack of success recently and he sees Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool as all being bigger clubs next season. Whatever the real reason the Premiership has lost a great player and I'm sure all of Arsenals fans will wish him the best of luck at Barca.
What does this mean for Eto-o though? Barca buying Henry could lead to them letting him go before the transfer window closes.
I think Arsenal have enough talent to contionue competing in the league cup and to finish in a Champions league spot. They have some amazing youth in their squad that just lack one thing, experience. They do need to buy a couple of new players though.I heard Cesc Fabregas said he might leave if/when Wenger goes How is Arsenal going to come back from this I wonder.
Well at least Reyes is back....
Who do you think will be the next captain? I say Toure.
Henry had to go to get one last shot at a really huge club. We'll miss him, but on the bright side we'll get a new player(s) who'll be wanting to establish himself as Henry's successor. Keeping Henry could have turned the team into a similar team that kept Ian Wright for a couple of seasons too long. Once you have a player of Henry and Wrights stature the team starts to play for them rather than the team. When Wrighty was injured for most of the season in 1998 and a young, inexperienced but hungry Anelka stepped in, we won The Double. As long as Wenger stays, Arsenal will be ok...
