Please NO minivans,no 80 HP pos little cars,no station wagons,no 1901 2 hp things. Please dont waste game space on that stuff. GT4 was an awesome game but a LOT of the content was not what I would prefer. And PLEASE no Citrion 2CV or what ever that thing was.

IMO (and this is what I do), you don't use those cars to race. I go to time trial and just drive them. It's kinda fun because they're normal cars. Supercars and racecars are VERY cool, but it's just fun to drive your everday car, truck or minivan also.

Also fun taking a Fiat 500 around the Green Hell; you hardly have to use the brakes! :D
In fact, I hope there is a 1998 Chevrolet S10 2.2. I hate it but would be cool to see it make an appearance in 5.

- No more repeated cars like GT4 (Skylines, MX-5, NSX, RX-7...).
- A better AI (not lemmings)
- Each car have different performance, handling ...
- Good range of manufacturers/cars: classic, road, tuner, supercars, racing...
- Diferents parts from diferents manufacturers.

I love the non-racecars as they add a fun factor to the game.

no escudo, and no for cars that have less than 100hp

The Escudo is a part of automotive history. I would like all the hillclimb cars to be in the game.

No cars less than 100 HP? Wtf. What about the Ginetta G4? The '79 Honda Civic? I loved the VW Karmann-Ghia. Feeble yes? Fun to drive? Yes.
A tangential comment: I want the Galant VR-4, the 1990 Mazda Cosmo, and the Subaru SVX back in the game. Loved those cars.

No, or very few, LM Editions. They are ugly, and offer nothing a real racecar doesn't.

Unless, of course, it's one of those rare awesome LM editions, like the 619hp Del Sol LM of GT2.

No Kias, please! And no Malaysian pound-shop s:censored:boxes. Sorry, but who the hell wants a Perodua or a Proton (the car, not the sub-atomic particle) who isn't more boring than a bowl of rice?

I dont want that.....and I can't imagine a crew checking the tires...the pilot inside with gloves and helmet, that would be disturbing

+100000 but not on the station wagons. The magnum SRT-8 is pretty cool. Apart from that I agree. No cars under 100HP it is just too boring to drive feels like I'm going to fall asleep every time I drive one.

No more tire smoke or dust,,,,at least not as it is now. When racing online ,too many times I've been blinded by the smoke and/or dust to the point of not being able to see the car/s in front of me. This is annoying .

I would find single file starts more acceptable if I was allowed to accelerate as soon as the front car. In a real race, when the green flag drops, you can accelerate. You don't have to wait till you get to the start line.

As for the music ,I couldn't care less. I have it shut off for racing and just barely audible for replays and all the menu music and where ever else there is music,I have it shut off. Don't see a need for it ,Don't believe a race car would have a radio in it except for commmunication purposes.

Why?? theres plenty of cool cars under that power range.... if I want to FF drift a Daihatsu (something), i should be able to.. plus i wanna see Fiat 500 and Yaris and so on, not to mention old Lotuses.

I'm not sure if I like this crusade against "cars under 100 HP."
Somehow I feel the loss of the economy class cars would cut the diversity of models appearing in the game. I will agree that things like the Mitsubishi i and the 1886 Benz Velo were kind of superfluous, but I don't think PD should leave out cars like the '83 Honda Ballade Sport. I still think it's kind of fun to compete with <100 HP cars, just to see if I can overtake the opponents.

Larry, if a car goe's off the track, or spins its rear tyres up, your going to get smoke or dust. Do you think its easy in real life? Its a driving simulator, that menas things should be as realistic as possible!

I agree there will be smoke and dust. I'm sure you have seen real races. When a car is off in the grass ,how much dust would it create? Would you see the massive dust cloud that we see when a punter cheats Suzuka from the first turn to the esses? They are crossing grass and the cloud of dust practically ,totally hides the car till it gets back to the track. Would you get this much dust in real life? I doubt it. Same goes for the amount of dust and smoke seen when a car is going around a corner hard but not in a massive slide. The smoke/dust produced is,in my view, beyond what would be realistic. It may be real in the volume of air space it would appear but is not realistic in its density. I've been behind 2 or 3 cars going hard around a corner and lost all of them in the smoke cloud. Never seen that in real life nor on TV. As you have said "It's a driving simulator, that means things should be realistic as possible!". My opinion is,in the case of the density of the smoke and dust ,it's not realistic.

I don't want to hear the annoying, unrealistic tire squeal sound effect that's been used in every game since GT3. No tire sounds like that! I really hope they change it.

... At Pike's Peak. At GT4 rally tracks It's about on par with a WRC car when I drive it. And that was a pushing-the-limit borderline clean lap.

EDIT:And it's good for 1/4 mile and 1000m.

- GT5P's penalty system
- GT4's Arcade Mode - I want my C, B, A, S, etc. classes back, thanks.
- A lack of DLC so that I can't drive any cars that came out after the initial release
- Outdated cars from Super GT/JGTC unless they're particularly special (Castrol Supra, Pennzoil Skyline etc.)
- Not having any fun rulebook loopholes to exploit.

Ive seen 2 post that say"no escudo," are you guys crazy?! Ive been itching to drive 1000hp+ rally car now that I have a G25, I cant wait!

On topic- I agree with "Larry," tire smoke around turns is too excessive, but not enough while drifting. and the dust clouds on grass are just stupid.
