Things You Hate About NFS:U

I quite like this game :) (and now I'm gonna get flamed)

One of the final races (the 7 lapper at the Terminal) is really annoying. It took me about an hour and a bit to win it, and only just.

I tried with the RSX, the Supra, the S2000 (which "Matt" uses), the Skyline, and the RX-7.

Thank god for Mazda :D

catchup :dunce:

hate that. my bro was playing it, and was almost a lap ahead on one of the special races. not long after, he's running a clean lap and being tailgated by second place...

The patetic attempt at a story line,

'Hey n00b you suck, lets race!'
'OMG teh n00b beat me, you got lucky.' x 999999999 might as well not havea a story line.

The fact that not all is available at he start, youy must wait forthe 'latest shipment' of goods and cars. The cars are most annoying in U:2 as uniques are non transferable.

The graphics are totally overdone, too many effects it becomes hard to see through all the blurriness and jagged edges :ouch:

It rains every other race.

The whole games has an immature aftertaste to it with more than a hint of FnF cash-in.

Fugly kits, and you may not keep Snyper or Ace until the end due to the ugliness meter as i call it saying that your car is not ugly enough. 10 stars = :ill: 1 star = :)

It's incredibly easy to win single races by cheating (just take off all of your performance parts and boom, the A.I. does too).
The fact that you can't continue to do races until your car is riced.
The fact that the vinyl system (whcih I admit that I had fun with) cannot be done with custom hoods and is incredibly buggy as is (graphic mistakes).
The fact that it is called "Need For Speed" yet I see no Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche or even any Corvette.

I hate the whole "underground" idea, the neon lights, the big fat mufflers, stupid music...that's why I didn't buy the damn thing...haha

I love NFS HP2 though

It's too easy.

I've completely clocked it (unlocked all vinyls and accessories, except for the uniques I didn't choose (eg one WBK, couple of vinyls, CF hoods)).

Bumping an old thread (and showing my face again around here), but my hated fo this game is intense.

I borrowed it from my next-door neighbour (I'd goten a free copy of WRC II: Extreme witha amgazine subscription and forgotten he had it) so he lent my NFS:U.

- It might just be my copy, but this game has HUGE graphical issues, and now I refuse to play it. I got as far as 'Kurt's New Ride' where you have to race Jarrus, Amy and Kurt around Market Street. Thundering over the bridge (yeah, right) and down into Chinatown, the track ... disappears. And doesn't come back until after that long left with the shortcut through the park (second shortcut on the stage). Most of the buildings vanish too, so all you really have to see the track is your opponents, the occasional lights, and the map. Unfortunately, the game keeps going without the track, so traffic frequently fills the streets, even though you can't see it, which means you frequently hit cars without ever knowing they were there. Unfair.

- As has been previously mentioned, the try-hard dialogue is also pathetic.

- I hate having to re-race events that can take up to an hour to win and my reward is the ability to change my under-car neon from red to 'lavender' or 'grape'.
