From my own thread:

  • Meaningful licenses
  • Meaningful A-spec level
  • Meaningful money
  • Meaningful B-spec
  • No rabbit car
  • Useful race timing
    Please?
  • Useful car sorting and labeling
  • Better community tools
  • Better qualifications
This somewhat addressed in an update where we got the ability to start the next race by previous race results (i.e. not reversed).

Race timing should be a priority, but the latest gameplay video leaves me the fear that this will not be addressed. :grumpy:

I'd really like to see a spec be online compatible. Instead of just free rooms online make it a series of races just like a spec. Much better racing humans than ai any day.

I want the ability to lose the keys to my car(s) and the garage door opener :sly: I mean if this is a simulator lets get really real.

Seriosuly though expanded camera and photomode options would be good:
Shutter speed 30sec to 1/8000
Zoom 10mm to 1000mm
ISO 25-25000 (yes new digitals can go up to and past 25000 ISO)
"Burst" function
Panorama mode
Flash lighting options! On camera, off camera, etc
Frame by frame advance/rewind in replay photomode
Time/weather change in phototravel
Better rendering of buildings and edges in photomode backgrounds, good God.
Better rendering of avatar in photomode (he levitates too often)
Free reign of what to photo (open doors, hood, trunk, interior, convertible tops, etc)
Phototravel to tracks (same options but at track)

Other:
Ability to preview GT Auto options in a photomode like setting before purchasing (wheels, wheel color, paint, aero, etc)

I'm sure some of those have been mentioned here but other than the OP I can't go through over 100 pages of posts to find out as it will gvie me eye cancer.

I want to see functional indicators. When you look at the demo for Top Gear, the Astons 4/6-ways are flashing. Pretty misleading for someone if that was their first visual of the game.

More cosmetic environment annoyances: dust on rally cars, mud.
Mud & built up grass.. and other gunk on tires and side skirts.
More premium cars.
More Racing Mod options.. along with wide body kits.
Fanatec CSW support
NHRA Drag Racing.
Headtracking with PS eye throughout the whole game (incl. online)
NoS.
Formula 3 racing.
easier way to earn money
Engine swaps
Dynamic ads honestly.

PS Vita port.

I don't know if someone already said this but i would like to have in the game some kind of online photo mode. By this i mean to have the ability to take pictures with friends and their cars. For exemple you could take a picture of you (your driver) and your car with a friend with his car and driver.
Other than that people already said, in photo mode you could take pics of various cars simultaneosly, better sounds, better musics, better menu (they could use that animation of the car in use in the pittbox like sometimes appears in the start menu), etc.
This is what i was talking about: http://www.noticiasdot.com/publicac...8/GT5-prologue/pit-box/imgpages/image001.html

-Different Bumper options for most cars (cars that have different bumper styles)
-Over fenders on cars so you can have a wide-body look to your car
-Front and rear diffusers so there will be less air drag on your car
-Be able to change the exhaust/muffler on your car

-Engine upgrade 1/2/3 broken down to smaller upgrades so you can tune your car more precisely.

-ability to clear out livery on race cars. For example, I can remove all the vinyl on a Castrol TOM's Supra, so I can have an all black version of it.

Car sorting, where you can put cars in certain folders which you can create yourself. EX: drift car folder.

I'd like to see the ability to gift other players your credits. Say your friend needs a few extra thousand for an expensive car. You can just gift them those extra few thousands of credits and they can buy the car without having to enter a race.

Mind... officially... blown...

I want nitros back, does anyone know of PD is considering bringing it back?

I don't know about nitro, but I have found hints at perhaps brake upgrades. Looking on the GT site, specifically at the pictures of the GTAcademy 370Z cars, the normal has standard solid brakes. The tuned car has cross slotted brakes with different calipers.

The Tuned 370Z has always had those, sadly. So while there is the off chance that, even in GT5, it was hinting at brake upgrades... I seriously doubt it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the list from that guy who "unlocked" the game, in that list of things he found, wasn't there brake upgrade, port polish, racing super soft, stage 4 engine and stage 4 turbo upgrade? Because I think that those things might come in GT6

More needless button pressing...just what the GT tuning menu needs...

if anybodies played about on the Audi section of Playstation Home, you'll get where I'm coming from. I'd like a camera that takes effects in replays, where you can make the body transparent so you can see the car working in real time to help with tuning.

Yes, I want all these options.

I just have one question. How hard would it be to program the A.I. to respond to all the new "realism" options that people have suggested?

True on most of it..I think it actually went to stage 5 turbo if I'm not mistaken. There were also "C" and "V" versions of each tire. One for lateral grip the other for straightline grip I believe. I didn't have a chance to test anything before they took my hybriding away, but if you really want to know you can look over there.

I hope when it comes to this stage 4 and 5 stuff we don't have to go through every stage to get to the last one as in GT5.

^Hell no, it's not a game for bouncin' in yo' weelz bangin' sum b***hez. Even death metal would be more fitting here (I'm not saying that as a metalhead).

But that's just my opinion.

Not every rapper sings about money, bitches, and fame. Unnecessary generalisation.

It was more of a sideway genre of thought anyway, I hope to see d&b, dubstep and perhaps drumstep.

What about Indie pop?

Good for trailers and replays, but the rest... I don't know, it doesn't really mirror the racing soul (or however you want to call it), speed, battle, excitement, etc.

EDIT: Maybe sometimes as menu bgm, to have variation.

👍
(although I barely listen to hip hop/rap)

Hate the called type though.

Remix of an original song. Would be a welcome to see few club mixes as well, not Hit ones, more like from the Djs like Ian Carey, Cazzette etc.

Okay.... if you don't like GT6's soundtrack, then use your own. With that said, I would like a better track selection system. I'm sick and tired of exiting lobbies just to set up my track list again....

Actually, I think one simple thing I want for GT6 is to be able to play my custom music online at all times and not only when there's no mics in the lobby.
