My Top 10 Wishlist.

10. All of the Music from the previous Gran Turismo games with the exception of the "Lounge" styled music from GT5 Prologue and GT5. This includes original Masahiro Andoh songs from the Japanese releases.

9. The ability to paint and apply a livery to any car if your choosing.

8. An improved Shuffle Race system which includes a wider PP selection, and the ability to Shuffle for Race Cars, Tuners, Muscles, Trucks, and etc.

7. The ability to listen to your own custom music online with Voice Chat enabled.

6. The cool replay music effect that was seen in Gran Turismo 3.

5. The ability to upload your rides online and allow players to buy it in an Auction House or to buy a player's Livery.

4. Any Unique/Racing cars to be given a Premium Upgrade.

3. The inclusion of a proper Drag Racing mode with an actual Drag Strip (or even bringing back Las Vegas Drag Strip)

2. Any DLC cars focusing more on a variety instead of being heavily Japanese (particularly Nissan) oriented.

1. The ability to copy your GT5 Garage Data to GT6.

All of my this^

I'm honestly not picky about much of the stuff that I do want.
but I REALLY do want a better and more realistic feel of driving. For example I hate how in GT5 when you're doing 140 it feels like you're actually doing 60. And when you're doing 60 it feels like you're doing 15mph. You don't get that sense of speed at all.
but everything else to me will just be a bonus honestly

I'd like to add:

1. Support for 3 pedals, gas, brake and clutch for heel-toe action. (Fanatec Clubsport Pedals, for example).

2. Private rooms. I should be able to setup a public lounge, set it as private, post the room id on a forum and have folks join who know the room id. Room just never shows up in the public list. Yes, you can do this today via Personal lounges and friends list. But then we run into friend limits and all that mess. Private room is the way to go.

3. More jazz, less trance. No kids singing.

1. It IS supported now. I do alot of H/T driving with my G27.
2. You can essentially do this now also, no?
3. Race cars don't have CD players lol :dopey:

In my personal opinion, these are the three things that GT6 needs to have:

1.) Full steering wheel rotation
2.) Ignition system on all vehicles
3.) Realistic engine/exhaust sounds

Seriously, if GT had those few things, its realism would skyrocket. Make us proud, PD!

1. You missed the part where I said I have Fanatec Clubsport Pedals. I don't own a G27. This does not work in GT5 currently.

2. I also mentioned that we do private races currently using our personal lounge. But then only friends can enter. The point of the request is that anyone who knows the room id can join. But the room is not visible to the general public. This allows me to start a race, for instance, and post the room id here. Then only folks browsing gtplanet will know about it. Get it?

3. Just making sure I voted on the music.

What I want is better damage physics. One time at the end of a LONG race, I ended up with a sandwiched MINOLTA 88C-V!

1. You said "for example". So, I replied about my G27. Sorry.
2. Idk alot about hosting online which is why I tried to phrase it as a question.
3. Yep I was joking around ;)

Also, what about making your own custom liveries, saving them, and applying them to your cars? Maybe make the liveries have cool decals, vinyls, brand names, designs, etc.

1. Final gear adjustments to the old American Muscle Cars using their default stock transmissions. Swapping a rear end was a common place mod. Use manufacturer correct ratios. I'm tired of installing the noisy Race Transmision while the rest of the car is stock.

2. Period correct Tires for old cars. Bias ply tires and lower performing radial grip levels (ie BFGoodrich Radial T/A's).

This. I bought a new '69 Camaro last night and slapped comfort hards on it to simulate (sort of) old redline tires. It should not be squealing like it's going to spin out on the Porsche curves at Lemans going 40mph. And not being able to simply switch the final drive is a joke. It was a simple factory option.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

To add to that list I would like the ability to "order" a car. Set the final drive ratio, tire options, brake packages, suspension, exhaust, engine options (think old Corvette 327, 350, 396, 454) etc that were available for that make/model/year from the factory. I understand that physical body parts and interiors may be a bit too much but it's about the physics and feel right? Give us factory performance options. Could make spec racing even more fun.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Better ability to save fuel. I've tested the "newish" method of putting the clutch in and idling through corners in NASCAR enough to know that it doesn't work. IRL some drivers have been able to save ALOT of fuel this way. It seems that the fuel calculation in this game is based off of distance much more so than how you are actually driving. Maybe I'm wrong but that's how it seems to me.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mechanical damage that isn't self healing, visible damage that gets fixed or at least better when you chose to fix it in the pits (as long as it's tied to mechanical damage).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ability to completely restrict ghosting in online races. Even for penalties (which should just turn into a black flag pass through anyway). Again I could be wrong as I just recently started racing online, but I'm tired of giving somebody room or backing off so I don't wreck them, get a better line off the corner and pass them, only to have them ghost through me for a pass at the next corner. Yet that same driver will spin you on a straight to keep thier position. That's not racing. I thought the collision setting was supposed to do that?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Disable the ability to "quit" an online race when you're not doing well because you're pouting or want to get a better start position in the next race. Make the option return to pits only until the race finishes and automatically make them start last in the next race. I ALWAYS stay out on the track even if I'm 1 or more laps down as a simple courtesy to show I'm not some crying little baby. That's racing, you don't win every race, and sometimes you're miserably alone with no hope of even a top ten, deal with it.

Although then you've got to figure out how to deal with the losers turned "angry crashers".
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ability to "stream" races to an online site or something so somebody who wants to watch only isn't hogging a space that someone else could use for racing.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Shuffle within a general type of car, not only PP, would be nice. Alot of people hate getting old muscle in the 450 range, whereas others would like that exclusively. Year, make, model, drivetrain type, engine config (4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl, 12cyl), turbo etc would be great choices IMO.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll think of more later I'm sure lol.
*If you want to quote only part of this please use the dividers I put in to easily delete parts you aren't responding to. These long posts get hard to deal with on the mobile app when quoted in full :( ;)

Polyphony Digital should work together more with other Sony brands. I for one would like to see a partnership with Sony's Alpha cameras and with association with UNESCO, you can photograph your cars in their featured World Heritage Sites. As an added bonus, the World Clock feature works with Gran Turismo 6 as well.

And plenty of Sony product placement. <3

That all sounds rather.....pointless.

One thing I would like to see is some additional options on the hud view that could be toggled on or off and ideally the position of them changed on the screen.

Specifically I would like to see optional rear, right side and left side view mirrors available in bumper, roof and hood views.

Of course I would also like many of the other things suggested in this thread and my #1 request would be leaderboards.

If I could turn off everything in the HUD except mph for cruising it'd be nice. I use cockpit view and the speedometers are not very readable in all cars :(

I dont want to be a Party pooper but lets get real. Although the 100square mile roam is good, and the radio would be cool but r u serious?! These are all great ideas, but my main concern is the ai. Without multiplayer, gt5 would stink. Polyphony doesnt have time for all this

As shown in my sig, I'm starting GT5 at scratch and am retaking the license tests. I'm currently stuck on the infamous A-8 :grumpy: and what I noticed when viewing the in-game demonstration, was that it showed how to pass the test but not how to get gold-like in previous GT's.
Please show replays of cars obtaining gold in the demonstration tests!

All I simply want is a decent AI and A LOT OF A SPEC EVENTS!

C'mon PD, GT5's A SPEC was disappointing!!

Yeah PD Bring back the Rally Tracks! We only have 2 default dirt rally locations and one snow location!

Rally used to be a massive part in Gran Turismo but oh no you had to throw it out the window!

Also do you guys remember the manufacturer events? They even had them on GT5 Prologue!

GT5 really disappointed me in the A-Spec races!

I want the ability to customize paintjobs and add logos and graphics to the cars. Imagine how much bigger the world of GT would be with this ability. This should have been done for GT5!

More realistic crash damage and vehicle wear. (that still resets at the beginning of each race)

The ability to drive in the pits.

have a paint shop where you can buy any paint colors and or paint schemes with credits not real money.

go back through the standard car library and make them all premium cars.

Thank you.

I'd like more control over the AI skill, more real world tracks and the ability to choose all the cars I want to race against in offline mode.

I have Forza 4 and the ability to change and create liveries and also sell them along with sell your custom tunes (you can also just give them away), its really just an easy way to SHARE and SEE and SEARCH these two things, is a MUST. For those that aren't aware, there is a search engine for liveries and tunes. So you can buy tunes that are for certain tracks, and btw both the liveries and tunes have ratings and also you can see how many have been downloaded. Its just an awesome experience to customize your car but if you are like me, suck at it, its a way for the community to share. These are locked too, you can't modify them.

I was listening to the Blancpain at Silverstone and the announcer commented on one of the Nissan Academy drivers having to serve a pit stop penalty for speeding on the yellow flag. He wondered if in the video game if the race director told him in the game to serve a penalty for speeding on a yellow or if there was a yellow. That would bring a better experience, real wrecks, mechanical breakdowns, etc and the ensuing yellow flags and ability to break rules with real penalties.

I agree completely. đź‘Ť

I'd love to set the AI on max difficulty and then see how much lower I can go PP-wise and still beat them.

Miata vs. Corvette = win
Miata vs. Mustang = win

and so on...
