Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

Higher frame rate. The frame rate is so low on cockpit view that it diminishes the sense of speed. If PD could get that up to a solid 30+ fps I think that would go along way to helping out. Perhaps the PS4 will help in this regard.

would it be too much to ask if they would make the disc itself into the actual game play and locations, focus only on these racing, physics, locations, everything. And then make all cars part of DLC, offer a free DLC with a ton of cars. And then individual cars you can buy with credits you earn in game or real money. And update them constantly with new cars that are coming out.

This would allow for a much smoother and deeper gameplay because all of the disc content would be focused on the actual experience. Much more customization, much more detail on physics. It would also mean unlimited cars, and more detail on the individual cars since they aren't limited to space on the disc.

The downsides are you would need an internet connection to get any cars. And to buy new cars and tracks. And that would limit sales. Also the lost time waiting for cars to download and stuff.

I STILL think this would spell HUGE things for the GT world. With unlimited potential for detail and customization. Which are two things they need to work on. For anybody whos played it, the car painting should be changed to something like, but more efficient than that of NASCAR 2011 The Game, the customization goes very deep. And i think they should allow that to the cars if you want.

I am actually not 100% percent sure this does not relate to cars or tracks, but something I would really like to see in gt6 is...

An endurance rally event. Just any rally/dirt trial course with and endurance feature. Say 3 hours or even a 24 hour one.

The rally section of GT has become more and more underated with each new GT release.

I just can't get over with the chase cam!

In GT3 it just looks so much more fun! Also in the 2000 era, GT's were actually more fun with nice license tests, events and winning new cars from championships.

The point is PD should bring back the fun-factor, the excitement of getting new cars and winning races, to Gran Turismo. GT5 was a bit dull compared to the three first ones.

I am sure most of these have already been posted but here's my five cents worth:

Harder Licenses: The older GTs you would struggle on some tests to even get a Bronze, now it's too easy to breeze through.

Qualifying: Just to make things more realistic, I'm fed up from starting at the back ALL the damn time.

Actual Races: GT have got stuck in the rut of doing pursuits. I don't always want to start at the back and have to pass x amount of cars in x amount of laps... Have they forgotten what an actual RACE is?? (seasonal events prime example)

LESS pursuits: I've all but done GT 5 and while I am grateful for the Seasonal Event updates I am sick of pursuits have they forgotten what a Race actually is.

Race Save: Live in the 'Real World' - if you're going to have 24hr Races then you need a mid race save function end of.

AI Characters: Some set driver profiles that either follow you through your career or are specific to a region i.e. US Muscle Car events or Japan GT 500 series, not just random names with random abilities.

Less Supercars: GT seem to have all but given up on regular cars or mid range models, I know they had the "used car dealership" but the models were just enhanced ports from previous games.

More Manufacturers: Other games seem to be able to attract other top end manufacturers.

Better Damage: An area GT has really lagged behind in compared to other series. Yes GT is a "Sim" but even with the next gen consoles you will never get true sim damage so at least match the other titles. Heck even GTA IV has better visual damage.

More car customisation: More options available on more cars.

More current tracks: Syphon any of the current F1 calendar for starters

More current cars: By time GT hits the shelf they seem to be miles behind the current car market.

Better Value DLC: Need I say more really? £5.00 for 4 cars... hardly a great deals when the game cost £45.00

Remove credits limit: 20,000,000 may seem a lot but not when you can earn more than 1m per race on seasonal events and then only have so many expensive cars to buy.

Look at GT1: GT seems to have lost there way a bit. Look back at what made GT1 soooooo good. more focus on building your career in low end cars rather than jumping into the big dogs after just 2 or 3 championships.

Bring Back: The ability to sell any car in game, b-spec time increase, unlimited credits, true split screen racing.

There is only one improvement in GT6 that I really care about. Standard Tires. I want to put stock tires on my virtual car, not N1, N2 or N3's. How should I know which are appropriate? PD care so much about so many tiny little details, but in fundamental parts of game, like realistic handling for each car it's still unfinished.

Less super cars? the problem I have with this is that I can go buy any normal car and put it around a track in real life, I don't want to simulate driving a car I can find easily in real life. I think they need more exotic cars, I'd love to see more Aston's or maybe more than one Bugatti. I think instead of 96 different honda civics they should get some more popular ones and then do some more cars that you don't see everyday. Or maybe have some DLC with a ton of extra super cars. I personally love when I buy a new Ferrari or Aston and immediately hit the track with it to see what sort of times I can get out of it. Thats my personal biggest draw to the game.

agree

Also put more a-spec events, because it's ok to have some seasonal events but I like to race not to chase the guy that is much more advenced in the starting of a race
And, of course, starting still not in moviment

With the level of details for vehicle interiors, that PD have spent tremendous amount of time on, I speak for most, they should let us sample the interiors in photo mode & even at the dealership.

Online Physics exact same as offline. If you can nearly flip an RX7 TC @ Willow Springs offline, better be able to do it online as well.

I want just one thing: a proper race weekend, and add the possibility of detailed rules like TYRE MANAGEMENT and setup between weekends and practice, qualifyng and race

There's a game called Automation that's still in beta.
I basically want that in GT6.

It's basically the ability to build your engine from the ground up. Engine configuration, materials, valve type, air/fuel ratios, rev limits, aspiration type, fuel delivery type, exhaust type and size.

So lets say you've got an Ariel Atom in GT6, you might have an engine bay of a certain size, and (if you want to), you can work with those size constraints to drop a small twin turboed 2L V8 in it. The Automation engine figures out the weight of the engine and the power curves, along with the durability and fuel economy of the engine.

Could be an upgrade option for character. Once you hit Level 10, you can buy an ECU that enables you to change air/fuel ratios. At level 20, your stage 3 engine mod enables you to do swaps or stroke the engine, or add stronger components and raise the boost on your stage 3 turbo.

Could then really play with the types of races you have (must be a NA V8, etc).

I want some narrow mountain passes, more interesting/dynamic scenery (Like in DiRT). Gran Turismo I feel lacks some "fun" driving roads not just tracks. We have so many race tracks but they all feel sterile so having a few narrow passes (roads) would be quite fun/different.

I would like to see better shuffle racing customization. Some of the cars in the current pools suck, for example the muscle cars on longer tracks, you are screwed since they only have 4 gears and weigh a million pounds. I'd like to see an option where you can pick and choose your own pool of cars to make it more fair. And for the love of god, please get rid of the search function for 'race for fun/race for real' blah blah, when there is NO option to search specifically for shuffle lobbies. Everything else I'm pretty happy with
