The only car Bob gets all to himself is the Mercedes CLK Touring car.
I don't think I've ever driven it. He drives it in the dutch touring car championship and makes me all my money.

I absolutly love driving the Merc Tourer, fully loaded it flies round the courses and on Midfield I get to lap my other favourite the Merc 190 Evo and the still-to-be raced Vauxhall Calibra (not so favourite) 👍

Bob is useless with my garage. He once crashed my Aston Martin DB9 which was stock and I have never let him drive my decent cars again.
But I never set up cars for him but this is a good idea......
Maybe people should post their setups for bobs cars so we can all use them much like the "Tuner Garages" we all ready have but instead "Bob's Garages". What do you think?

good idea, he might even drive better with some good settings:idea:

who wants to be the thread's starter?:)

As of right now, the FGT is mostly for Bob. Not that it is too hard to drive (I have to re-learn how) but because it drives in a way that it is nearly impossible to drive sport tire shod cars after that. I love racing street cars. Also, Bob needs it to do the 24 hour enduros which I lack the attention span for.:indiff:

Mine's called "E. Bob" and he loves driving around in the black Mazda 787B. I've only droven a few laps on Fuji 90's

He also likes to crash around in the FGT

In La Sarthe II Bob always try's to escape on the long stretch.
What, is Bob mad at me?:guilty:

My Bob got attached to my Mercedez CLK Touring car. I call him bonehead before my file got corrupted. Condolence to my driver bonehead

Greetings All Ye Knights Of B Spec,
My venturing into this element of the game has been forstalled by a certain fear and trepidation, but ths weekend I too have entered the B Spec frey!
The driver I have enlisted, is named Dismas(after the patron saint of lost causes). The first thing I did was to select a suitable ride for Good Dismas, and settled upon my Pescarolo Judd.
Being an astute team manager, I wished not to bruise Dismas' ego on his first outing so a suitable venue was required. I settled for the Tuners Cup. Yes Good Sirs, this was akin to bringing a bazooka to a sword fight, but as I thought I needed to learn how to direct without worrying about the other cars. Needless to say Dismas was successful in his first outing. I was impressed at his racing line even when he was instructed to "Push/Overtake".
Feeling a certain sense of confidence I have now entered Dismas in the world Circuits events. On the Ring, Sarthe, and Fuji, he performed flawlessly and finished first. He showed to be lacking at Infineon and Laguna, where he finished third at both venues. So I replaced him and avenged our honor.
Still a couple of Japanese tracks to go, and I am indeed looking forward to seeing how Dismas improves over time. I may even toss him behind the wheel of a rally car just to see if the change of venue upsets him.
As of now we are still in the learning/honeymoon phase, so I am pleased.
A fascinating element of the game, that I am glad i have tried.
Until Next Time,
Fangio

XJR-9, Bentley, Honda S800 ( i used gameshark with this one), Mercedes SL 600 , BMW M3. i only used these cars only becuase of the maunfacutre events, otherwise i'd race them myself.

I once put him in a motor carriage at the ring on x3 speed while I went to school as punishment for losing. He doesn't talk to me anymore.

Bob owns a CLK touring car and a Bentely that he won at SartheII 24, in my Mercedes Sauber C9

My B-spec driver gets to use two cars...
The 7.3 Zonda for the Italia Cup (to win the alfa TC worth 265,000 on sale)... B-spec loves this one since it only takes 6 laps to win the entire Italia Cup and in the end you earn about 300,000. 👍
The other car for b-spec is the Amuse GT1... Amazing car for anyone but for B-spec it is the ultimate. B-spec gets the GT1 for use in the El Capitan Enduro... 66 laps, 3X speed, less than an hour of letting B-spec work without any input from me. Gets the win every time and earns over 900,000 per win (thanks to the 700,000 prize car Minolta).

Other than those two cars I don't use anything for B-spec... B-spec has always be two things for me and nothing more... A way to easily make money in the game and a way to finish races I wouldn't run otherwise (24hr enduros).

I personally had 2 cars that Roberto drove nigh exclusively:
TVR Griffith 500, which I tuned specifically so Bob could use it better than stock. It also had about 80,000 miles on it before I started over. I used it for every money making race (Nuburgring 4 hour, Laguna Seca 200 mile, El Capitan 200 mile, Nurbugring 24 hour) that it could enter in, and it nearly always won.
My other car that had a exclusive setup for Roberto was the Toyota Minolta 88C-V set up with
a 4 speed transmission to save tires. It ended up with nearly 30,000 miles, I believe. I also used it for top speed and aerodynamic testing, though, and rather frequently played around drifiting it with a 3 speed tranny.
I also dabbled around with Plymouth 440 'Cudas, and I even have a published set-up that was designed for both A-Spec and B-Spec use, though I rarely B-Specced it.
Two more favorites were the Opera S2000 and S2000 LM, though they were more-or-less replaced by the Griffith, with the S2000 LM becoming strictly an A-Spec car and the Opera falling out of use.
Another perennial winner was the Toyota MR2 '99 with a supercharger. Good times, that.

Bob, Arne, Gunnar, Billy-Bob Wally ,Billy Bob Bo Jangles, Robert, Erin ...
how do you call your gifted B-Spec friend ?

my alter ego is named Flavio ( italian name, the choice comes from the "F" in the map view in the b-spec race monitor )
he drives the Audi Quattro Touring car in the DTM when I can't do all the races, and most often the Minolta for enduro racing at Nurburgring ...
I found out he's quite good with this car on this track, and suffers quite lightly of any bumps and the very high mileage ...

I don't give Bob the chance to drive anymore! I restarted my game around 70% so I could have a complete A-spec game :X

I am looking forward to them! As soon as I get back to my house (when my finals are done) the fun BEGINS!! I'll be going for all 200 point races and will hopefully do some write-ups :)

Greetings B Spec'ers,
As of late, I have found myself comparing myself to Dismas, on tracks that I have actually competed on. Although the cars I raced are not available in GT4, I have strapped Dismas behind the wheel of cars as closely configured to mine as possible. Much to my consternation, Dismas, at Laguna Seca, and Sears Point(Infeneon) is a superior driver. He is most at home behind the wheel of the Jag XKE, a car that I have raced in V12 roadster form. Now that my ego is completely ground into dust, Dismas is now running all the races I have already won, whilst I sit on the sidelines, prepping his cars, and eating Cap'n Crunch.
I will say this, his replays are vastly entertaining.

Glad to see this thread take off again.

Bob is a good guy . . . Not always coordinated when it comes to racing. But its good to see him get his dues . . . and cars.

Bob won a fuji race at Japan GT championship for me in a Nissan GT something since I wasn't allowed to race (have only aquired "A" licence). He lost the lead but then on the last lap he slipstreamed and overtook and won by a 0.0021 of a second margin :D

I'll buy Bob a soda for sure since I became 15000 credits richer due to that win 👍
