This might be a bit controversial, but I don't like Laguna Seca

But I honestly think PD should cut Laguna Seca from all future GT/TT games in favor of another worthy road course such as Miller Motorsport Park or Road America. Why?the corkscrew is great and all, in reality the track as a whole isn't too great and it lacks depth/challenge, TT and the past GT games made me realize this.

Anyhow, does anybody share this same feeling?

Virginia International would be fun when modelled to GT5 standards, but I wouldn't sacrifice Laguna Seca for it.

I don't agree with loosing Laguna, it was the first track that I "felt the car" on. But at the end of the day we are all entitled to our own opinion. 👍

Where did people get this "something has to be taken out for something to get put in" mentality?

It's almost as annoying as the elitism on these boards.

I don't agree with you, Leguna is challenging to some degree or they wouldn't race there ( Corkscrew is what makes it challenging & the gradients ).More challenging tracks are maybe Knockhill, Zandvoort, Brands Hatch, 60's Spa track ( longish track ), Monza, Monte Carlo & numerous other circuits.Leguna is probably the hardest track for racing drivers, 2nd i'd say Monte Carlo, 3rd the 'ring.LS is worse for bike racers, at some speed you have to either gingerly go through corkscrew or crank it right over down that steep gradient.

We should be promoting the addition tracks, not petitioning to remove tracks.

Laguna stays and +1 for adding Miller and Road America and any other track anybody wants. The more the merrier.

so meybe nring too ? or la sarthe ? or citta di aria..

Not including Laguna Seca in GT5 would be a great shame...

I'm 100% sure that they inclulde Laguna and Motegi and that's why i'm not concerned about 20 Location/tracks,countries thing because there will be clearly more than 20 tracks and by 20 vs 70 things i say as earlierin diffrent thread that this is 20 Countries/Locations and over 70 diffrent tracks without even layouts.

If they can add almost 33% more cars than gt4 then why they can't do that with tracks ? Especially if they have NASCAR and WRC license ...

BTW i just noticed but almost All legendary group B cars are in GT4 ! Never noticed it before...

If in gt5 there would not be 70 diffrent Tracks I will eat my pubes... ;)

No, I pretty much disagree with all of what you just said.

+1.

Laguna Seca has become the "Nurburgring" of the USA IMO. Many auto manufacturers are taking their cars there and trying to set lap records for street cars. Dodge just recently set a record with the 2010 ACR Viper.

The corkscrew is a legendary corner...
I don't want to lose Laguna Seca.
And I'm pretty confident it will be in GT5.

GROSS dude!:sly: But anyway I was reading in other threads that there is going to be like 96 or so tracks in GT5 and that is what I am choosing to believe. I am 100% sure that Kaz will not dissapoint us!

Laguna has never been one of my favourite tracks, still it is a lot of fun with loose RWD cars.

Though I have never quite understood what the big fuzz is all about, ALMS runs on it so that's enough "justification" for me to be in any serious racing game.

You have to consider, Laguna is one the premier racing circuits in the US, even world. They have Le Mans Series cars there and LS is a Le Mans track. Sorta like Infineon (ahem... Sears Point) Raceway being in for the NASCAR license.

You can almost bet that track will make it in, and I can't wait to drive it. Hopefully they include the old layout too.

Oh, and how about the drag strip at Sears Point. :sly:👍

Isn't the old layout just the Sports Car course?

I think the OP created this thread purely to get some replies. I don't think he really wants Laguna Seca out of the game.

Laguna was ever to not be featured, that would be a shame. I think the track flows so well, I love the uphill run, great track.
