Crazy how well its performing on PC, I think this has always been the case hasn't it? Consoles just dont seem to be able to output the same FFB.

From the reviews online the T-GT II is by far the better wheel.Reading these reviews and comments I thought maybe i'll start with a used T-GT II but they are basically the same price as a new T598 and new they are over $1K CDN with worse pedals than the T598.
WIld stuff.
Thrustmaster Manufacturer's Warranty is 2 Years.Best Buy is stating only 30 days warranty from TM? This cannot be correct surely?
Right but it is 60% more than the price of the T598 and with the basic pedal set so need to improve that too. All I'd be at just $800 for the T598 and well over $1300 (CAD) for the GTII. I can't justify that big a price gap, I need to just hope they improve the software on the 598 on GT7.From the reviews online the T-GT II is by far the better wheel.
"worth it" I am sure but tbh i can only justify so much spend on this rig build before it gets silly for a video game.If they will not improve T598 FFB with software, then its not worth it. TGT is far better. Played on both.
Imagine what the price of this thing would be.If Thrustmaster would have gone with 8nm +t-dfb the story would be very different.
Somewhere around/above CSL DD PRO. Would be ok as a standalone base. Many who use that much have the ecosystem anyways.Imagine what the price of this thing would be.
This is where it gets tricky though, I had a T150 and loathed it, could barely keep the car on the road. I tried a DD Fanatec at a car show and it was night and day. As you can see above I am on the fence about what direction to take, based on comments here I suspect the GTII is the better wheel/base right now but it feels like a dead end so to speak. If I had a GTII I would not change to a 598 BUT coming from a T150 it's another story. And thats exactly what the t598 is all about. Its an upgrade for drivers coming from a g29, t150/t256/t300 and not for tgt2 owners. Especially not for tgt2 owners who are used to tdfb in gt7.
