Anyone know why it says that the shifter can plugged in usb in manual but instead actually needs be plugged into base?

It’s gotta be a bug or not implemented it works that way perfectly in gt sport

Mines connected to console. (PS4 pro) and it doesn’t work. On Reddit they’re saying it works if connected to the wheel base.

I’m not at home rn so can’t check, but IIRC the T150 doesn’t have an option to connect it to the wheelbase?

Bro your shifter has to be connected to the base.. it will not work it’s a wire hanging from the shifter connect that to the other wire that plugs into the front of your wheel base. You should be good then my friend!

Yes. Unfortunately for me I only have the usb plug for mine I bought my shifter second hand and it didn’t come with the wheelbase connector :,(

I found the part I need on the thrustmaster eshop but they say they will only ship within the uk and I think they wanted 10£. They don’t have a specific shop for Canada where I am.

The other option is to get a ricmotec one for $30, but I’m hoping an update will sort this out for free soon enough like how it was on gt sport.

My thinking is that since this issue also happens to t500 users and the t500 is an official wheel listed in the controller section and user manual but the t500 does not have a front connector for the shifter there’s no work around for them. Meaning gt must fix this soon.

Are you guys driving with cars that uses clutch? My clutch workes but only with cars with clutches like integra R etc it works really well actually I’m sorry for the people having problems.

Yeah the shifter is plugged into the wheel base and wheel base is plugged into the ps5. Do you have to do anything to activate the clutch?mines only paddles still

The next best thing to do is unplug your wheel while GT7 is on start a race with the car and make sure shifter is in neutral when the race starts, clutch and shift it in gear that should work bro.

What do you mean start race? When its in auto drive in a race? Or before i click start ok a race?

Yea bro when the race is about to start in auto drive once it’s done shift it like if you were driving bro it should work. I know sometime this is what I have to do.

Did you update your wheels firmware? After everything is set you should be able to just step on the clutch and move the shifter around to activate them.

Also if you’re running a t300 I think there’s a ps5 mode as well.

Yeah i updated the wheels firmware yesterday and yeah the light is red. Its working for me already just the shifter wont activate

Just tried to unplug it while it was autodrive and by time i plugged it in and wheel reset . I stepped in clutch and still didnt work?

I have mine in the front but I think that doesn’t matter bro… I think i screwed you up a little bit… you wanna unplug and then plug in your wheel while your just in the race menus before you hit start race…. Once you start race just shift into a gear once it’s outta auto drive.

Got it let me try it! When you are on the start menu and hit start race you do it by pressingX on the wheel right? Like unplug , replug then hit x on race wheel and clutch in at the race?

Im also using the integra type R so i know it has a clutch
