Thrustmaster TH8A not recognized on GT7

Just tried what u said didnt work ):. Then moved it to the front usb and still didnt work. You had to press the ps button on wheel first then press x to start righ?

Once I plug my wheel back in I log in my wheel with my PS5 controller. I don’t hit my ps button on my wheel the user controller screen pops up automatically. I feel so bad man.. you sure your light is red and not orange? Did you hold down the buttons to switch the color modes and your switch is on PS4 they look very similar in Color bro.

Yes it should log you in as another controller user right and you click your profile. After that it should be ready to go bro. That all I’m doing and I only do it once…. Once in a blue moon my clutch won’t register so I just disconnect it plug it back in then I’m all good… I was hoping it help ughhh.

Does the shifter work bro without the clutch?

I got it to work! I reupdated the firmware on my pc for the shifter. Unplugged wheel and exited game. Plugged shifter back into wheel plugged wheel back into ps5 on front port. Atarted game and race and it worked

I have USB -version of th8a rs shifter, i cant connect this to my T-GT wheel base. Is the even available an usb - din cable so that i can plug that shfter to my wheel base?

I plugt in my shifter in to the t150 base the shifter works but the response is very bad and the steering same story doesn’t respond verg good do u thing i need to update the wheel or its a bug in de game that they hopefully fix?

Im on the ps4

I have a TH8RS that only came with a USB plug, no DIN connector. It works with GT Sport when I directly plug to my PS4 USB port.

However, I think GT7 on PS4 DOES NOT support a direct USB plug-in device, thats the reason the shifter doesn't work.

Not sure if the shifter can be modified from USB to DIN, so that I can plug to my TGT-II Wheel base. Any thoughts? Thanks all.

But thats weird for every game gt5/6 sport asseto corsa dirt etc workd with the usb pluged in the ps4/5 and now bc of this new game it don’t work

What do you mean USB to USB? My shifter is TH8RS and is already USB male.

Right, looks like GT7 does not support TH8RS.

However, TH8A should work with GT7 if you plug into the wheel base (DIN) instead of using the USB and plug into the console (PS4/PS5)
