Just thought I'd share a small usability mod I made to my Thrustmaster TSS Spacro handbrake. Its a well made unit but switching the handbrake from full upright position to more diagonal is fiddly as anyone who owns one knows.
I replaced the large diameter thick plastic spacer provided by Thrustmaster with a stack of 6x 16mm diameter 1.5mm thick plastic washers in the lowest hole slot. The 4 hole bracket TM provide is permanently attached to the lowest hole on the vertical column in a fixed position and 2 of the above 1.5mm thick washers are glued to the inside of the 4 hole brackets holes to meet the aluminium handbrake arm when switched to diagonal positions.
This lets you quickly switch between 3 positions by only swapping out one bolt. See pics.
