Only have 3 people plus you Phillip that have a car ready to go...maybe 3 to 4 more people need to run their test laps.

Also, could open the room early so everyone could sort their cars before we begin racing.

I am thinking one more week then run the N400 event on the 15th.

Cool, pinched a tune off the web and tweaked it a bit, did about 20 laps and broke 1.47 a couple of times so put a couple of percent on the weight and did a fairly long stint in the '47s so it seems about right

Great fun last night, made a nice change running combos that we all picked made it very interesting and very different.

Type of shuffle night as we didn't know what was coming next.

I will be hosting this week...send FR to PSN: Bassaddition.

Grab your favorite N400 car and make ANY change you want...set it up to your liking. Now head out to Tokyo Expressway: South Outer Loop and run test laps to meet a target time of 1:49.000 +/- .002 online or 1:47.000 +/- .002 offline. You are looking for a comfortable race pace style of driving giving you 1:49.000 to 1:47.000 lap times depending where you test your car. 👍

When you are good to go, post your car in the thread so we can get a good mixture of different cars on the grid...limiting this to two of the same car. These will be short 10 - 15 minute races with no boost, tire wear or fuel settings. Nothing stopping you from tuning up several cars to switch it up between races...

Just a side note though: It's my daughter's 22nd birthday and "apparently" I was told we were going out for dinner tonight so will probably be very late to the room this evening if at all.

Fantastic idea Larry Moto-bike chicane is always a hit, I was working on a 24H Le-mans night at different tracks.

Sardegna A / Brands Hatch / Kyoto YAM+Miy / Bluemoon speedway and Catalunya But this can join the list with F1500 RedBull ring.

Tsukuba Honda S800 at power/weight of the Race car from GT5 (ill find and update that) Catalunya (Car?) both with moto-bike chicane rules.

Edit: I'm sure you'll love this, Cataluya any Gr4 with BoP + Moto-bike chicane

Tsukuba MB Chicane only the last man rules apply
Catalunya MB Chicane only the first three must use the chicane

I'll write it up tomorrow or Monday.

Honda S800 set as of the GT5 race car 98bph and 669Kg (144% power / 93% weight)
Sport Soft tires.
Full custom box and Diff if you wish
All settings at Default.

Moto-bike chicane is in use this week but this time around we're in a FR sporty number.
Chicane rules are the same as (same me writing it out again) week 1 in the Abarth

All that is different is laps and pit stop/s
17 Laps and 1pit stop

Race Two

Any Gr4 set default + BoP
Racing Hard tyres.

Laps 10 = 20mins
Tires 15
Fuel 08
pit 1

Moto-bike chicane again same as the 3 legged race here week 18

1st & last lap / pit-in / pit-out you miss the chicane.
All other laps you must use the moto-bike chicane

If you find yourself in last place at any time in the race, you can miss the chicane.

I was thinking of putting both chicanes in this race, just to give the track another dimension. We'll save that for another day

Don't forget you can still keep upto date of all the past events and the current here at GTfn.
It's nice to look back, maybe spark a thought from one you liked, which we can re-run at some time.

I have an idea for a GTfn night in the future and it goes something like this:

Call it a handicap event if you will but the idea is that we use a poll to choose the first track and car division and everyone "qualifies" for say 10 minutes. We then use your fastest time as your handicap time.

The slowest car will then be set off when the lights go out and then the second slowest at a specific interval (which i will need to determine through some calculations) and then the next slowest and so on until the fastest car has left. The idea is that if everyone does similar lap times to their qualifying times, we should have all the cars finishing at the same time (in theory).

What do you folks think?
