I'm confused by the size tags rule - I use them to make my sig smaller - I guess as long as you are not increasing the font size, there is no problem??

TS
Does my sig qualify?
No, the admins told me that your sig has been blasted into space on an Apollo rocket. Tough but fair.

My sig, on the other hand, is laden down with awards and trophies, and as a result can't join us tonight.

What award-winning sig do you speak of?

Mine should now qualify. With the new signiture limitations probably many more people do. :D

It’s all about aesthetics. Go bowling or watch a movie. (At 1 AM.)

Boston Bowl at 3 AM is probably the greatest thing ever, although they close the arcade at about midnight, I think.

24 hour bowling FTW.

My sig is now a tidy sig
the main reason is in my sig :grumpy:
but now its a tidy sig :sly:

No it isn't.
Sure .....it has the link tidy sig in it but it does not follow all the "rules" as stated in post 1. Amend your sig (remove emoticons) and only then you can call it a true tidy sig. :sly:

Made a pic for my sig
Gues what no code allowed
GOOD. That means our browsers won't have to be burdened by your 700x200 pixel, 888kb, animated monstrosity.

Remember when Netscape Navigator allowed you turn off all animations which a single click? It was the only reason I stuck with NN 4.xx for so damn long (about 2001 or so). Come to think of it, why doesn't Firefox have that by now?

Thanks to Jordan, nearly everyone has a TidySig™ now, so this thread is ready to mosey on into the sunset.

One word: Adblock. You don’t have to use it to block ads – it has a number of other features, one of which is turning off .gif animations.

Or making any picture that you don't like disappear. Helpful in other forums for avatars or signature pics that you just don't want to look at. :)

Never really thought of it like that; although I've used it for scripts and bloking complete ad folders on pages I commonly visit. For example, Yahoo! Mail is quite the clean interface when it's been defaced of its ads.

It's a little bit over the top isn't it. :dopey:

But when I remove those smilies it's boring and I'm not boring.
It's stil tidy compared to my room but that doesn't mean anything.

So ok I have a Almost Tidy Sig :sly: Atleast it's not a flashing car

You have 2 options, take out the tidy sig link or take out the emoticons.
