Time of PS Store update? when is it available?

Do you guys seriously not know about world time zones?

How do you tell the time when you are on holiday?

Heres a picture to help, find the sector for your country then you will see if you are + or - and how far away from Greenwich Mean Time you actually are

i dont think PD will have the responsibility on this now... its sony.. the updates you said were only to GT5P itself.. but this is depending on PSN..

That's true... online-updates what were released sometimes like one day earlier than promised, did not have so much 'pressure' on them either, so PD just put them out whenever they wanted.

This is way bigger thing, and Sony is most propably behind 'The Button' now.

If you were referring to me.......well I don't travel much...in fact, I've actually never been out of my time zone...everywhere I've traveled has been east or south of where I live (EST) or GMT -5....therefore I don't have a huge reason to know or care what the heck GMT + or - whatever actually means...the only other areas I've really looked up are England because my friend plays pro soccer there (or futbol), and Japan because of this GT franchise. I just looked to see what time it was...not whether it was GMT + or - insert number here. But hey, you learn something new everyday right? I understand it now.

That time makes sense. It is a time when the areas with the highest concentrations of GT fans are sleeping or working, therefore there wont be a huge amount of downloads at the same time. GMT 9 PM would have been a mistake

Yeah, I was just thinking that it might be a continental release. 9am GMT for European countries, but not necessarily the same time for Americans or Australians. I guess we'll just have to get it when we can, and be happy with it.

can I do this? I didnt know I could as I tried the other day but for somereason it said that the PSN Store is not available in my country? I was like wtf? i'm in the UK on a UK PSN Account on my UK PSP Go? Whats the problem as I cant find a solution? Will try again now....

US is also a different competition. So, we might get the demo at a seperate time. Just a thought.

You have to set up the PS3 and PSP for remote play

Then with the PS3 in standby, start up the PSP and select remote play, the PS3 will start up and you can control it and play media from PS3 HDD to and with the PSP and go into the store.

I've only done it over my own network so far.

What/how was your PSP connected to the internet? I've used my phone (vodafone) before and had some problems with services saying the same thing. (not with PSP, BBC player on phone)

You really can't just look up Australian timezones and find it for yourself? We're GTM +10 in Melbourne. That'll help.

Of course you have to have taken time to fill in the blanks on your info page: Go to Your profile page then>My GTPlanet>settings & options>edit options>Date & time options. Maybe reasons like this is why He added this feature.

I'm pretty sure there is a difference between what time a game/demo is released and when a psn store actually updates. If I'm correct 9am gmt will be 2am my time.

I'll be up to confirm this, I don't think the u.s. psn store will update for me untill 3pm.

My post was only to be taken for the GMT info as I agree with you about the update for the PS Store (US), but if you have an EU account on your PS then maybe you could download the EU version at 9am GMT where ever you are. Then download the US version between 5-6pm eastern US time.
