This Time Trial consists of driving a Honda S2000 around Toyko R246. It's basically an Arcade car with no modifications allowed and the same rules apply to the licenses.

If hit a wall to hard you FAIL.
If you go off the track you FAIL.

This challenge is down to pure driver skill!

Goal - A fast time around this track is 1.57.xxx Any time lower than this will need to be backed up with Proof.

Best of luck!

rules regarding the rumble strip? I didn't know you could go of course in r246.

Hey GVX, I'll give this a go but I know that I will not beat you!

Anyone that can beat mr persistance mutilpule times is much better than myself but I'll do it just to compare times.

My Current best is a -2:00.7XX back on 9/9/01.

First nights try ends me up with a 2:00.432 (no wall touches of course, but I do get wheels on the ripple strips) and the knowledge I can go faster. Hmmm another 3 seconds however seems like a huge ask.

Looking forward to seeing how other people go. ;)

This is turning into a good event for me. My previous best of 1:57.0xx has been eclipsed by a sorching run of 1:56.8xx

Keeping you're speed up is critical and alot of sliding in and out of corners is crucial for a fast time. You must be hitting your Apex's almost perfect and coming out of the corners inches away from the barriers.

Keep with it.

I'll post some splits when I get them off my saved lap time.

For all interested the below time is the one to beat. This is the record from Racing Lines Course records. I would love to beat this time and with only a tenth to go it's not impossible:D I'm using the std. dual shock II analogue controller.

Wiese -- German -- Steering Wheel -- 01.56.737 -- 17 Oct 2001 -- PAL

That's a pretty tall order there. Especially if you're doing it with a DS2 instead of a wheel. Best of luck to you, it'd be cool to see some GTPlanet names on the top of someone else's list! (:

If it's a time trial, you just have to finish. The game pretty much handles anything that wouldn't fly in a real world race.

WOW my new best time is 3 seconds off Wiese

1:59.XXX, still crappy!

This is not an easy car to drive as it suffers from huge under steer. You need to turn in real early and let the car slide into the corners without losing too much speed. To be honest I haven't tried beating Wiese time yet as I've been competing in the fun Rotary challenge.
