Thanks for posting your tune BanditKarter.

I ran a few laps and got into the low 31s. :dopey:

I'm quite happy with the way I got back into the swing of TTing after a month or so out but, as per usual, I always seem to manage to balls-up 2 or 3 corners and not string a complete lap in.

I might be able to get a mid 30s.

I'll have to give Pmjg66's tune a go soon. :)

Not sure what the best way to go with setup is for ssr5.

Been chasing a few of the top 10 ghosts and think they have quite considerable differences in their tunes. I have full ballast and more power and catch some in the straights but loose more due to earlier and heavier braking in the corners for the extra weight.

Also need to tweak the suspension slightly for the extra weight. On a 1'28.6 still around 50th but if I change my gearing to a 6 speed this might help I think.
Do any of the top guys have any tips on suspension settings - I usually just use trial and error lol

Im not a top driver but sometimes ive come up with some good tunes managed 21st once. You are on my friends list and my car is on share it doesn't seem to bad give it a try and tell me what you think. Its not my tunes that are bad its my driving lol .

Cheers mate, yeah I'll definitely give it a try.

Looks like the guy in 1st at Fuji is really going for it, he's on a 1:29.704 now and I've watched his lap, it looks perfect apart from that sharp left hander in the second sector where he gets oversteer and loses time, but the rest of the lap is brilliant!

Guy??? Quite impressive how good Taylor Swift is at GT5 ;).

 He (or she) told me that he (or she) is a member of the official Taylor Swift fan fourm, I think it was called 'Taylor Connect' or something like that. :dopey: But nonetheless, still an awesome lap.

I have to say, yinato's lap with lambo is pretty awesome... 👍
It would be nice to have some setup details..

I 'm currently in top 100, with a 1:28.8, and a massive loss at the hairpin, hoping to see 27's.

Your welcome Lendell

Actually thanks to the anonymous creator of this tune. Thanks mate

I just improved with this tune to a 30.489. Still a bit of room left.

Andrew, you missed a post

Lendells tunes isn't created by him. See my qoute post (i posted the tune)

BTW i just improved at Fuji to 1:30,355 and still some room left. :D

The Lendell tune is my original 1:30.484 tune I think... unless someone came up with exactly the same tune by coincidence

I spent some more time on it last night without success, only to get a big improvement within 8 laps tonight... knocked 0.3 off for a 1:30.186 and 9th for the time being... maybe a 29 is just doable for me :D

Great car and track combo 👍

Are the replays accurate 100%? Or do they differ from what that driver is actually doing?

:ron:

And your right about the combo

Don't really do TT's but i've got a bit addicted to this one. My best was a high 30, then I tried banditkarter's tune and have got down to 30.516. Thanks banditkarter:tup:

I've read on here people using dirty oil which I haven't, how much time do you think you save using this trick?

Accurate in what way?

Do they accurately show what the driver is doing? Are the braking points slightly off compared to when the driver is actually hitting them? Kind of like a replay save compared to a DVR replay of the actual lap... The DVR is perfect, while the replay has like a latency and jittery kind of feel.

On anothe note... I'm blaming 3 tenths on my inferior tune, and another 3 tenth on my lack of a wheel haha (I have to tell myself this) The steering wheel radius would help, but the throttle control would be a huge improvement... I'm pretty happy with my current time though on a pad.

Would a DFGT have any speed disadvantage to a T500 or G27?

Tune-

-12 -10
19.3 18.7
9 9
9 9
6 6

2.2 1.3
-18.0 +5

7

6 9 brakes

Full aero front and back minimum weight. 529 hp

I'm gonna try some dirty oil at some point. That combined with a perfect lap and better partial throttle modulation and a 29 might happen.

:dunce: Never saw that post. Thanks.

Nice time, by the way. ;)

Haha Dennis!

It's a great combo! :D

I'm just curious, I don't see you on the leaderboard. How would you know it's a great combo if you haven't done it? Unless you're TC_TaylorSwift13. :P

Edit: I looked at the SSR5 rankings and I saw that Lucas has decided to put two accounts in the top 10 again. I'm getting sick and tired of seeing him do this. 👎

Had a go at SSR5 last night and again just now. Was using the Gallardo LP 560-4 '08 until I checked the leader board and saw that the Murcielago LP 670-4 Superveloce '09 was the car of the champions, so saddled up mine.
It had a tune I called 'PMJG + mine' on it, although it would be mostly pmjg's.

In any case I won't be worrying the top blokes just yet, finished for now with a 1:33.334 @ # 3,760.

update.. Another few runs and improved to 1:32.336 #1786.

update..Down to 1:31.086 #672. This is more like it, around 4 secs off the pace. Although I am at the top of MY leaderboard.

congatulations Dalone...i m satisfy too...i m second to my leaderboard behind you:)....but i ll try very hard for the first position...lol

I believe the game stores replay data such as track position and speed at certain intervals along the track and then the game interpolates this data to reproduce the lap, basically it's not identical to the actual lap set by the player but very close. It's so the replay files are smaller but of course you can't watch these replays outside of GT5, I think if you create tyre marks in a replay and then go back a sector the tyre marks are still there because your not watching actual footage of the lap but the game loading certain things up (as I said like track position). Same happens in Call of Duty games when you see a killcam, sometimes a player will smash a window before killing you but when you watch the replay the window will already be smashed. I hope my ramblings make sense. :)

Im guessing that's the ssr5 tt over then - winter_mist beat yinato's lap by nearly 4s in an Option Z on racing softs...

Managed to improve to a 1'28.312 - just outside the top 50, but guess its gonna get closed down now anyway :(

What? How have they managed to do that? I hope this doesn't happen in the 600pp time trial :( Complete BS these cheating t****!
