Im guessing that's the ssr5 tt over then - winter_mist beat yinato's lap by nearly 4s in an Option Z on racing softs...

Managed to improve to a 1'28.312 - just outside the top 50, but guess its gonna get closed down now anyway

That's just one of those weird glitches where someone chooses a car and enters the TT, but somehow ends up in a different car with different tires, even if the car and tires are not allowed. It's happened to me before. Nothing will get shut down. This glitch happens all the time.

I really hope that too. Have spend quit some time to reach that possition. And i'm not done with it. Still enjoying the Takata at Fuji

That's weird. So could be a luck shot. Or he tried ever car in the game. Every TT he tries it till he found that one clitch car to be on the #1 spot for one day

The Lendell tune is my original 1:30.484 tune I think... unless someone came up with exactly the same tune by coincidence

I spent some more time on it last night without success, only to get a big improvement within 8 laps tonight... knocked 0.3 off for a 1:30.186 and 9th for the time being... maybe a 29 is just doable for me

Had a session in the Lambo last night and improved to 1:28.0 and c.36th... I'm struggling a bit with getting the tune to feel decent on this one as the car want to oversteer and understeer at the same time... and as a result, I'm also struggling to stop understeering and/or oversteering in to the walls

And the last corner is a fatherless SOB!

I managed to improve my lap, on a 1'28.1 now at ssr5. I know I lost about 2 tenths from my best 1st sector and lost a bit more being cautious in the final turn. So hopefully can scrape into the 27s.

Running max ballast (with more power) I think is quicker on the straights, but its difficult to try and manage it through the first sector. Especially the quick left - right. Trying to catch steelfinger - who's fastest with the buttons at the moment on a 1'27.90 but I think that's just too quick for me lol.

For two hours this morning, I was chasing your ghost and I've been able to run a 1:31.878 lap which put me 371st.

Any chance you could drive a little slower on the straights so I could catch your slipstream?

Speed on the straights is an interesting thing on this TT.

I have been trying various rear wing and power ratios but you can be competitive running high or low so it's more down to personal preference. I've got 'Taylorswift' and Ramon's (Eclipse) tunes, both running very similar lap times but using a different tuning approach...

Ramon's tune uses 59 rear wing
'Taylorswift's' tune uses 52 rear wing (that was for 'her' 29.7 lap... might be lower still now)

I set my 30.1 time using 54, but have laps in the 30.2's with 58 and 52.

The seasonal TT's are much more interesting for me when tuning is allowed

My 30.1 was done with full 60 rear downforce. With my horrible throttle control its way easier for me to keep the car moving forward with that extra grip. I have come to realize that my throttle control is what's holding me back, and I don't have the patience to learn it on the DS3, so I'm going to buy a g27. Quick question...? Do you guys find your able to induce a little more initial oversteer with a wheel since you don't have the wheel angle lock aid the ds3's have? Essentially can you guys with wheels get a little more oversteer out of a tight and stable car that a ds3 user cannot?

Unfortunately I don't have any of the cars to be competitive in the GT500 TT, so I just ran it in the Petronas SC430 (my only GT500 ). Got a 1:33.4 and threw away a ton of 33.0s. Could find more with fiddling with the aero (just power limited to get the PP) but there's really no point unless you've got the Takata Dome '03.

Don't have any of the standards. My only GT500 is the SC430. I prefer the non-tuning events anyway, so it's no great loss.

Like you, my second game profile doesn't have the Takata Dome '03, so I purchased the premium Honda NSX Raybrig Super GT '06 and ran the TT.

I was able to run a 1:32.8xx with the Raybrig NSX, before I switched game profiles and ran some quicker times with the Takata Dome '03.
