So my aim was to get into the 1:32s....





...and I got a 1:33.000....

Still looking for a 1:32.8 if I can string it all together but those last two hairpins are so difficult to get bang on as only a little slip up can lose you all the time you'd gained.

FWIW on those last two corners. Be sure to be looking at the apex of the second to last one, even if you put the left side tires on the curb you aren't going to lose much time. Getting on the gas at the apex is key.

That last corner if you miss your braking point your lap is toast, if you brake a little early and then have to come off and do a few taps of the brake to keep the car turning though the apex you don't actually lose much time.

Have you tried my tune in the OP? I was consistently faster than yinato's .0 time (which was the ghost I was following) in the second sector and equal to his last sector. I just wasn't getting it done in the first sector.

Maybe that helps, hope you reach your goal.

Problem is that once you've nailed that corner (as I did today, got it perfectly rotated for a late apex and then hard on the power) it's so hard to not lose a lap that's faster up to that point. I'll get there eventually.

I did try your tune but it's way too frisky to be used without ABS as you just enter every corner backwards. Currently using pmj's first tune but I feel a different tune could be better as your tune was much better in the first sector, but the heavy trailbraking required through the rest of the lap nullified the advantage. I might try yours again with a less aggressive damper compression setting to try and tame that though as the turn in on power was better with your tune. 👍

I wasn't laughing about that and besides, the cheating is not working out in my favor because I refuse to give anybody anything because there is no way to tell if they are cheating or not. I certainly am not going to reward a cheater, even if he does happen to win. I was just laughing at the whole situation. Nice try tho trying to turn the ironecy back on me.

ImmortalP is gonna be mad for the last few days. Mikos_87 is in 2nd now with 1:09.414, I am so excited to see the final result.

You can see on first sector who is a cheater.
Look mikos is a cheater he have first sector 18,50 thats not possible with racing hard the first sector is the best for racing soft because this are fast corners. ImmortalCheater is a cheater look his first sector mbiccembruje and GTD_B4NN4MI also

Probably impossible. I would think the people who are cheating will be able to though. Must be annoying for IMMORTALPILOT putting a lot of effort on TT and gets beaten by someone cheating. Need to somehow get PD aware of the cheating going on, make the game so it checks more things.

Definitely impossible without cheating The guys who are cheating should easily be able to get into the 1:08s but they mess up quite badly in the technical corners.

Yep, he is already pedaling hard at alien level . Seems to be on a league of his own going by what is perceived to be genuine times. You might be 2nd person in list if leaderboard was genuine, haven't checked peoples replays though but going by comments made.

The only reason why I thinked otherwise is on YouTube, he was sort of suggesting he needs to cheat to go as fast as IMMORTALPILOT 80 100 downforce levels.

I thought he was accusing Immortal of cheating with 80/100 DF there's no good evidence of either of them cheating based on the replays so I'm just going to assume they're not

@Ridox, I definitely think it's DF, they're going so slow down the straights which tyres wouldn't effect, or maybe it's both

I know he was accusing him of using that but sort of also suggesting that is only way to be as fast as him. Suddenly B4NN4MI improved pace by a lot.

He did switch ABS on which could explain some of his time gained, but that amount of DF wouldn't really be noticeable so there's no real way of telling.

I think softer compound tires ( RM or RS ) would make the time faster by a lot, a second at least maybe ? Too bad the top time replay can't be viewed.

It would be interesting to do comparison in entry speeds into the corners compared to IMMORTALPILOT and straightline speed. If he is a lot / slightly faster in the higher speed stuff then it might be more telling. Will see how this develops over the weekend. Hopefully they don't cancel the TTs but instead get to bottom of any cheating going on in both TTs.

Yeah, I just checked the board, 1:09.051 from ImmortalCheater ( real PSN ), he could be well into 1:08.xxx, sadly I can't watch the replay with my YLOD PS3 If only someone would record and upload it.

No ABS wouldn't make much difference at all, with the majority of cars (FGT for sure) it is no different to driving properly with ABS. The only difference is that using too much brake into a corner locks a wheel rather than just running you wide.

I have no way of recording it, but I can tell you he goes 90mph around T1, 96mph around T2 and 98mph around T3

That is the worrying thing, even obvious ones they are not removing like Sport Hard ones that have long stood in the other TT.

Good luck on breaking that barrier to get into 1:09s, plenty of time left though as long as they don't cancel TT.
