Had a crack at Doodles tune, had to adjust the top speed, think that was about all, in any case it worked for me even though I have only taken off 5 hundredths so far. I am regularly many lengths in front of my ghost but usually blow it at the last corner.

Anyway there is still tomorrow to improve on my 1:33.764 ...@ pos 437.
 
Just had a tryout of doodles Impreza tune which likes to slide around a bit too much i think , it steps out too easily under braking with the DS3 (i could not improve from my 1:34.202 with it).

My max power would only reach 315bhp because i have done engine tuning stage 3

BUT.....after a few adjustments to suit my driving style a bit better.......

I have now improved to 1:33.958 #532 (my highest TT position so far :D) and i think there may a few more tenths to grab.

Are you guys downshifting to 1st or 2nd on last 2 turns?
 
Hi Guys, I wonder if anyone can give me some advice? Normally when I do tt's I turn off traction control. Yet for the last few days I noticed that it is on. I have checked my wheel and on the panel at the start and they both say that it has been turned off.
 
I'm guessing that you are saying that English is not your primary language and you are upset at the number of my posts that you have to read through, which you may consider pointless, to get to the stuff that you want to read. Kinda like saying that you are tired of reading my posts. Am I right?

I did this today:

Went to my lounge and opened my driving options and added racing hard C tires and then closed the options and reopen it again, the tires stayed the C type. I then went to the seasonal and with the C tires still on the FGT and opened driving options the tires were standard racing hards.

I then chose the C tire again and closed the options menu and reopened it, the tires were back to the standard hard tires. I added the C tires again and went straight to the seasonal. All times with Standard, C, and V type tires were in my normal low to mid 1m12's range. I am no where near good enough to tell small differences in tires but i'm not sold that the V & C tires can be used. When you exit the seasonal you have standard hard tires on. Just the way it worked for me at least.
 
Sorry it took me a while to get back to you guys. I've been busy today.

Doodle, Thank you again for such an awesome tune for Subaru, which easily shaved .3 off my lap and put me firmly on the leader board for the first time ever! :) 1:33.174 (205th for now)

I don't think there is anyone in the top 10 with my gears yet, but I usually shift at 7,000rpm

No problem! I made the setup so I could slide around. I find myself going faster with more oversteer, especially with AWD. But I'm glad the changes you made helped. :)

any help for gearbox setup and engine tune Doodle?

Thank you. :) I shift to 2nd, but some people do shift down to first on the last turn, depending on what their gear ratios are.

I did this today:

Perhaps if when you select these tires they don't "stick" it's a sign that PD have done something at the server end, unless you missed out on something needed to enabled them which I doubt.

Just managed my P.B of 1.11.875 been grinding out the laps for days chucking sub 12s away with tiny taps to the wall in last sector every time but hooked up a nice clean lap.
Well chuffed now to see if I can get back in to top 100
 
Many thanks for sharing your tune, doodle. At last a car that actually rotates! I was getting nowhere with this, could barely scrape a gold. Knocked 1.5s off with my first go. It's a bit late in the day but now I feel I've got something I can really work with at least.👍
 
Not going to accuse, I will only state my theory : RH V tire, this will show as RH on replay, the tire gives better traction and braking, but cornering remains the same with RH tires - as per description in game. With a very skilled driver, it will be very hard to detect, maybe it will appear the driver can brake later, less and lose more speed quicker, then nail on the throttle earlier with better traction.
It will hardly raise suspicion as we would think it's the driver not the car.


The worst part is this : RH C/V tires can be gifted, you don't need to know anything about hacking, someone can give you the tire, and to the people who never knew hacking, they could consider it simply a secret tire and as long it doesn't break regs, they are probably feel fine with it.


IMO, the benefits of RH V would be felt more on the later sectors ( after sector 1 ), where brakes and early throttle means time gained. With this tire, first sector time won't be so different to legit drivers, but on later parts with a skillful driver that can extract the most of available grip, sector times would be lower I think :D

The RH V tire gives better lap times remains to be proven works on FGT TT, but I invite anyone who has access to FGT and RH V to test and compare it with RH.

Anyway gave this combo a go and IMMORTALPILOT's time to me is legit. I can keep up with him first sector and a bit, I am rubbish at chicane though. The more you are comfortable with car and track, the more you can get out of it. He must be doing very close to perfect lap which is impressive 👍.

I tried the tune and you will get 319hp with titanium racing exhaust combined with all weight modifications and other parts that dont increase pp

Have you guys seen Mikos and IP's laps? IP is using every inch of the track and struggling for grip, Mikos is using less track and seems to have much better grip...imho.

In all high speed corners Mikos is faster, slow speed ones it is closer.

Now that you say that, I did compare the two laps and Mikos lap looks very suspicious.

Also, a bunch of new cheaters popped up on Motegi. Mixi, I'm very disappointed at you for using Sport Hards. :grumpy: You know better.

Well, once upon a time I remember a certain someone else that caved in to the peer pressure of cheating. :sly: Corner cutting wasn't it there doodle? :lol: Don't make yourself out to be someone without faults, everyone trips and stumbles every now and then. ;)
 
It's a shame don't PD haven't do anything yet with all hackers :/.

From what L2L has said in the past, RH tire variation - C and V will be shown as RH by the game ( default tires ), so most people may have thought that it resets to RH. Take the Subaru TT for example, those who uses CS C or V will have SH tires shown on the board and on replay, but the benefits of the C / V tire still there, hence the faster time.

Did you have a ago with RH V tires fitted ?

I think the issue is if you lie about it when questioned. Thats when you violate GTP's rules.

From what I have seen in his best lap I am sure 1:08:9xx is possible. I think he definitely see that time but will he do it now when he is under pressure will see...

I'm just going to place this here for all to see. I'm not going to make any further comment other than these downforce settings are from the top 10 runs from the seasonal FGT TT event. It is correct and up to date. Make of it as you will. I'm sorry, but I'm not pepared to answer any questions about this just yet.
