I have seen many videos being posted here.

And I have seen many people being happy about other people’s achievements.

But never have I seen so much hate on a guy for posting videos.

I won’t defend anyone in here, but I know how I would feel if the same people always told me they don’t like me, nor like the way I act when I have achieved my achievements.

If I was in a situation where people would disparage me every time I achieved something, my friendly attitude would kind of disappear.

Before everyone teaches other people how to act, don’t you think it would be better to say it nicely, instead of burst out with hate.

Ok, there is a difference between posting a video here to help people and posting a video purely bragging about your driving skills and your super human abilities. Have you not watched one of his videos? He doesn't post them to help people or even just humbly show his lap, its always a big production, full of gloating and arrogance. I have seen many people on here post videos without even a hint of all the fanfare that he does. Thats what really irritates people, and his arrogant attitude when posting. Nothing against you and not trying to argue with you, but come on man, can't you see the arrogance that this guy spews.

I only can drive cars that feel real.
The F1 cars feel like karts and the Race Cars also.
The Car with Comfort tyres are joke when you are real racer you know this.

Maybe because you can't handle tires with lower grip mate.
I challenge you if you want, but with something between both likes.
What about the Calsonic from the recomended list, all aids OFF, including abs and sports Medium TIRES.
You really shouuld learn something about respect man. If you're good at something, you don't need to show off how good you are, or do you think that Ayrton Senna needed to say that he was the best and challenge everyone? He always was humble and everybody knew, know and will know that he was the one of the bests in history.
TC-perrolocomcq it's my ID if you like the idea. I can invite another really fast people to have some real fun ;)

There's a difference my friend. Immortal puts his videos up to show off and brag how he is the best and can beat anyone.

People like banditkarter, doodlemonopoly and a few others are execellent drivers and mention times they do etc but don't brag about it, bandit even uploads videos to help people and shares tunes. There's a huge difference, that's what makes a decent person.

Best way to handle posts that you dont like...... just ignore them. Who cares what someone says that you dont even know.

Now back to the topic...does anyone use aero with suburu?

Guys, can we please keep the IMMORTALPILOT hate down a little. I really want this thread to stay on topic and I don't want this thread to get closed because of this. If you really have an issue, then contact a mod.

I'm not using any aero and it's the same story with the leaders. 👍

Agreed.

Further to this, is anyone willing to tune the 22b? I can see some potential in it, not the fastest but I reckon it could be close.

Ok this isn't hate related at all. But does anyone have any links for some info about ti tech defeating immortal pilot? I would like to read about it.

+1 on the IP stuff, beating a dead horse it seems.

Hey doodle, have you got your car to turn in under braking? I've tried all sorts of stuff but it still won't rotate going into the tight corners, it's really good in the flowing parts though. BB of 2 and 10 didn't even help.

Thanks! I didn't change the setup for comfort tires, just dropped some braking for the no ABS. Gearing around 199mph top speed for Monaco.

In case it helps, here's my general FGT setup as of two months ago (GT5 2.11), using a G27 wheel, all aids turned off...
Aero: 70, 88
Transmission: (Set final max, top speed min, then: )
1st 5.300 2nd 3.932 3rd 3.058 4th 2.572 5th 2.228 6th 1.950 7th 1.704 Final 3.317 (for 242mph max; adjust final for track)
LSD: 8, 42, 16
Suspension: springs 18.9, 19.0; dampers ex 8 8, com 8 8, a-r 6 6
Ride height: 3, -2
Camber: 2.2, 1.1; Toe: -0.24, 0.28
Brakes: 4, 2 (ABS OFF)

Nice tune. Thank you.
Got 1:11:787@16th and i still can improve by 1-2 cents on each sector, but can`t make perfect lap now =\

You're only good in very high grip cars because you spend all your time in them. So stop bragging about getting #1 in time trials when people who are actually fast enough to beat you really can't be bothered to waste there time on them. Formula cars definitely do not feel realistic in this game, in real life you won't go fast by drifting the back end round like you can in GT5. And Formula cars in real life can not be driven like karts, you need to be a hell of a lot smoother and they require quite a different driving style.

This is true. None of the cars in GT5 are realistic. This is not just because of the handling model but also because it is purely based off visual feedback. In a real vehicle you get much more feedback and it is far easier to drive on the limit consistently.
In GT5 it's a case of practice makes perfect, the more time you spend on a given car and track combo the faster you will become.

Today was the first time I have properly had a go at driving the FGT quickly and I can say although it was hard at first and I kept spinning, I am now really enjoying driving it. 👍

Anyone think that Bonelli guy is cheating on Motegi? His lap looks ****, his techniques definitely don't look perfect and he seems to be very strong on the brakes which suggests he isn't using normal tyres. Rajman's lap looks much better.

Falling down the tables slowly, was 25th now down to 29th. Need to get a proper balance, my car just swings between understeer and oversteer :(

I'm really really struggling with the FGT, can't get a clean run and crashing at Sainte Devote four times just epitomised my ire :(

I can't handle the hyper grip cars although I am new to this game which might be the main factor. I did the SuperGT one at Fuji the other day though and got a top 600 (at the time) which took some doing after using a tune shared here.

The tune's not the problem...it's me!

How do you view other people's laps?
Thanks

Just did a1:13:100 chasing banditkarters ghost found the lines he took help take 0.5 seconds off my pb still having trouble getting nose of car to turn in fully in higher speed sections thou

Four pages of handbags and no tune yet for the Scooby!
Come on people, don't be so cagey with the info.
I don't care what colour your hair is, or what you had for breakfast. Just like I am not interested in knowing your time UNLESS you post your tune with it!
If I wanted to know your time I would look at the leader board. I am here for tunes and racing advice, although the bickering also amuses me, so please carry on :)

So I will start the ball rolling with my amateur setup and time:
I used DS3 (Pad buttons) and AT to get 1:34.895 (inside the top 300 at this early stage)

Subaru ‘10 (New car from dealer)
Front Aero only
Engine stage 1
Weight reduction 1
ECU
Racing filter
Sports exhaust manifold
Ballast 127kg @50 making 1497kg total
338BHP 480PP
Transmission stock
Suspension stock
Torque 40/60
LSD: 7/10, 30/33, 11/16 Just me guessing, so could be much better?
BB 5/5

I am hoping that some kind soul can tweak this and help us all to go faster. Any advice with Suspension or LSD would be appreciated to remove the understeer.
Thank you kind people 👍

My car rotates way to much under braking actually. So much, in fact, that it's slowing me down. I might try to switch to the wheel and see if that would help make me a bit smoother.

For the Monaco TT, I'm just awful with high downforce race cars like the F1 cars, LMP cars, and the X2010/11. I'll give it a go, but I might not do so well.

How about comfort hard? :scared: Did this just fooling around the same week I stopped using ABS... about a year ago. My video has full power and aero but very soon after, they ran this same event with 870pp, funny.

That's an impressive lap for comfort hards and no ABS!

If you're not too concerned about top times and fancy some mad fun, give this tune a try if you have the sports wagon. It slides but it's very controllable. Went straight into the top 100 on my 4th lap with this tune and I don't even have the DLC track, but it's not one capable of reaching the top of the leaderboard, car wants to conquer corners at an angle and it always makes me smile.

I know, I know. I saw that tune (Thank you LEWIS, you are the only one so far) but I don't understand what is going on with the transmission and it is for a different car. I'm looking for the '10 Subaru?
Flipped transmission: What is this sorcery? :boggled:

Thanks for posting this up. It shaved almost 4 seconds of my best with my raggedy 🤬, BS tune. It's not a patch on the rest of you, but I'll take a sub 600, even if it's early in the TT. What are you doing to get the car down to 880PP? I added some ballast.

And gokartman, good grief man. Nice time! 👍 You too, Spurgy.
