Thanks for posting this up. It shaved almost 4 seconds of my best with my raggedy 🤬, BS tune. It's not a patch on the rest of you, but I'll take a sub 600, even if it's early in the TT. What are you doing to get the car down to 880PP? I added some ballast.

And gokartman, good grief man. Nice time! 👍 You too, Spurgy.

hey budy, long time no see :). I took my power down to 830 HP and put some ballast on from there. I'm sure there is a sweet spot, I just havent been able to find it yet :(. It's a bit different to the NASCARs we used to drive isn't it

Oh my gosh. I got a 1:12.558! Considering I'm awful with F1 cars, this is a huge achievement for me! :D There actually is about a second left for me to find but I'm really not worried about that now.

Another small improvement at Motegi, now on 1:35.562 .. pos 655, have come down 300 odd places, and 3 tenths/sec, since I bought the STi '10.

Not sure I have the best tune on it though, I have 305hp and 1294kg, that is with stage 3 weight reduction and no extra power.
I put a wing on it but found it wasn't needed, in my opinion, not fast enough speeds I think.

That's probably it for me for a while as the boys play footy this arvo until after 8pm.

thanks for your ideas Dalone...

so many posts here but nothing about subaru's tune...except Lewis and Stevious...all posts about mr World Record ......anyway lets try to make a good impreza ...

Dalone hear the sound of coupe 22b sti version 98....

I'm really really struggling with the FGT, can't get a clean run and crashing at Sainte Devote four times just epitomised my ire :(

I can't handle the hyper grip cars although I am new to this game which might be the main factor. I did the SuperGT one at Fuji the other day though and got a top 600 (at the time) which took some doing after using a tune shared here.

The tune's not the problem...it's me!

Just practice, practice, practice. Once you've got the hang of how to drive the car it should become easier. 👍

How do you view other people's laps?
Thanks

Go on the leaderboards and click on the replay, you can select watch replay if you aren't inside the event. If you entered into the event you can save the replay and watch it later in the replay theater. 👍

For the Subaru TT, what is the best way to reach 480pp? I've upped the power to 343bhp but am wondering whether it might be better to lose the weight instead as this track is a lot more to do with corner speed than grunt? :boggled:

Hi Guys ,

Here is the setup i'm using so far Ranked P3 at the Mo, maybe someone here can improve it . I must say i'm not too happy about the comments posted regarding Immortalpilot as he is a good friend . Anyway i'm staying well out of this one .....

Cheers and enjoy .

I went down the "shed weight" route ( also tried the "more poowweerr!" route but that didn't work out so well ). I find that it's easier to run somewhat decent and consistent laptimes with the lighter WRX '10

I have a 22b tune, I have done a 1:34:569, i reckon I could get a 1:34.0 from it with plenty of practice.

Cheers for the encouragement! I got down to a 1:16.0xx earlier although had lots of invalid 15s. At the moment I just can't react when the thing snaps out and then I end up perpendicular to the tracks :banghead:

I was looking through the times last night to see who else was trying a 22b and saw your excellent time 👍

I managed a 1.35.1 (I think) but my skill level will probably prevent me from going much quicker :guilty: - won't stop me trying though!

Really starting to enjoy time trials.

Have you tried stiffening the rear suspension?

What weight and power you using Bandit? I'm assuming its not the same as in the picture because you have 887pp :P I've got 800bhp and 580kg at the moment, tried using dirty oil but I felt like I needed the torque to rotate the back end round.

Just destroyed the Motegi TT with sports hards, hopefully that will make PD sit up and spot the likes of dedman100 aswell. I'm not sitting behind someone with lesser tyres.

No ballast for me, it should be 747bhp in the picture but I accidentally put new oil in the car! (facepalm)

I was wondering what that was about. I guess that's a good way to do it. LOL. So it will just let you pick SH tires? That's weird.

So you're cheating by using a step up in tires?

It doesn't let you choose SH tires even if you enter the event with them, it reverts back to comfort softs... How did you manage to use sports hard?

Thankyou for posting your setup Bandit, I feel as if I could shave quite a few more tenths off my time with it :). Down to a 1:11.991, but I know I did a 19.6 in the first sector, and I have been hitting 19.0's through there today, so hoping if I can string the lap together I could get a 1:11.3/4, maybe even a 2 if I manage to hook up the chicane right.

Normally when they notice something like this they delete all the cheated times, I used special comfort tyres which can be accessed by hacking but they show up as sports hard.

I kind of wish they just had no tuning again otherwise things like this are bound to happen!
