Why did they have to pick a track with such horrible track boundaries. I mean you can run as wide as you want, but you put barely any of your car on a kerb and the lap gets DQ'ed.

Personally, I managed only 2 "legit" laps after 1 hour

Looks like I'll only be doing the one TT once again then. Love La Sarthe, it's my favourite track in the game in fact, but the car choice is horrendous. I've never even liked the FGT so the X2010 is just not in my comfort zone.

Still, I'm liking the look of the Mazda/London combo.

As much as I love the X2010, they should have given us a Audi R10 or another LMP/Group C. I'm great around La Sarthe, but I struggle with this car in a major way.

Could have had any car that competes in the Le Mans 24hr race like lmps or vipers the corvettes but we stuck with the most pointless car in the game for it won't be running this much over next two weeks will be sticking to the London challenge tt

Id go as far as saying the redbull is the most point less car in gaming history even more point less than the horse in daytona usa
think i am gonna run my own tt in an audi tdi

Perhaps they chose London for the slower car this TT as last time they had Monaco with it's demanding walls everywhere for the F1, so now it's our turn to scrape some concrete.

The X2010 time trial is easy to gold but not so easy to get a good lap time. After many tries getting DQ, I finally did a 2:18 with my DS3 and a 118th place. That'll do for me.
I think it would be fun if they put the Red Bull on a more technical track. It's really cool driving the X1 on Tokyo with high downforce.

I Never use ABS an i use these Time Trials as ABS Practice.. i dont know where to set bb.. i have it set ok atm.. an i would like to say pirata666pirata i take my hat off to you..

using or not using abs is practically the same with these cars and bhp, only the difference is that with abs in 30 min I can do better with no abs while you would have to try a lot longer to get time, it is best to go round good continued, some time ago put a TT with capuccino in eifel kart, look who has the top 1 without abs


for abs on: 5 - 7

with no abs: 1 - 3 / 3 - 1

For the X2010 I recommend 10/10 on the brake balance. It allows you to push super deep in the braking zones, which is where you make up time on this TT. Also, get on the throttle early. For those who don't know, this car can be pushed to unimaginable limits.

Thanks for brake balance settings i was using 3/7 i learned with no abs when first got wheel an have always been improving on braking an not locking up, what i find difficult for me is that abs allows me to have so much play with the brake an am trying to adapt these slight differences to my no abs.. am currently practicing 4 4 to improve my brake control.. i use DFGT so it needs alot of love lol.. i need back into Top10 will try later when ppl are sleeping lol..

Oh I hate it when TTs are this close, I'm not a million miles away from P1 at London in terms of time but it's so tight that one little mistake and the lap is gone. Rossi gets some good traction out of the second to last corner thanks to a wall bash. If I nailed everything I'd probably match Rossi's time but getting everything right is so hard...

Not happy with the le-mans challenge at all. A total waste of time and more importantly like a lot of GT5 gamer's are asking where are the REAL Le-mans cars?, for the upcoming Le-mans race!?. It would of been nice to follow up the Monaco challenge with something more realistic. They must of been really bored in the PD office this month!.
Oh and the person who said this is the most realistic car you can get to a F1 car... What planet do you live on man! Do you even watch F1 do they have down force sucking fans... NO.
The car is a p*sstake and just mocks players who "try to enjoy an on-line challenge with a controller". O.K I might not be the best player, but I cant even begin to enjoy this challenge, as the parameters are all wrong.

The London challenged is balanced, but will quickly become boring.. I look forward to next month already.

Excuses, excuses... Just joking it's a tough track, I personally think the collision detection is off because I've had times when I have been absolutely certain I haven't touched a wall but the car reacts as if it has, I never have those problems at Cote d'Azur.

So, ridiculously inconsistent penalties AND a sub-second lap. I refuse to race this track; Avoid it at all costs and I'm sure not going to try figure it out at 280mph. I'll pass again. 👎

Currently on 2:22. Ran about 20mins this morning. I had a lap at 2:20 but screwed up the last Ford Chicane. Also, I am finding the Porsche Curves incredibly difficult on a DS3. Hopefully I can get my time down to 2:19 by the end of the TT

We had lmp cars at "jumpy" cape ring some time ago, and at the home race for those beauties we run with this ridiculously stupid non-car... not good...
Had a run, two clean laps at 2:21.something, don't know if i'll try further...

(probably for my hate to this stupid car i should blame the fact that the only gold i 'm missing for platinum is suzuka at vettel challenge... )


I think i 'll focus on London/mazda combo...

Also, really liked the mx5 dt at gvs... that petit monster drifts like hell...

DFGT! dfgt I used most of my time in the game, now a friend sold me his g25 at a great price and do not know if I will be faster but what is constant is that I'm more in my time!

I've seen people giving the wall to grab the curve more easily ... and to not buy time ... good because there reps and you can see who does that kind of thing, I banged the back of the car and lost some time and the next turn I made very nervous haha, lost as tenth ...also without touching walls will go much faster
