Thanx for the update. Was waiting for the new TT since morning.

Again a new challenge with historic cars. Will be worth the fun.

Thanks for the thread, sportacus.

Yup. It's begun. Check out the . . . 'gap'? :D

Our own Gravitron is in there.. . .

Currently on 1:37.477 but am looking forward to seeing some tunes for the Camaro Z28 '69.
Had the RM version but it didn't even have a LSD tune on it.
Anyway, early days although I have found that lowering the rear helps a bit with the tune I am using.

I had fun in a Carol, then a Skyline, tried the Corvette and the 2000GT, but the best time I got tonight was in a stock Camaro Z28 '69 detuned down to 400 PP, enough to get the Gold for now. Have to try later to better this time. Nowhere near you guys, of course; I hang around here so that some of that chutzpah would rub off on me. :)

That Green Hornet must have a sting in his tale, eh?

If you are like me and like to chase a fast ghost, now is the time to get one before the top 10 is filled with cheaters.

My video is up for this one. Used the Elan near enough stock.

I was asked what tune I was using with my Camaro Z28 '69 while I looking at other online tunes. Unfortunately I overwrote the one I was using when trying a tune by Lions Den Performance which is set up for well over 500PP.
Anyway I am posting the tune I am currently using which regularly puts me in front of my 1:37.477 ghost, with my first tune.
Note, don't change down to 2nd at the 1st corner (stay in 3rd) and get into 4th gear ASAP after the next L/hander before the R/hander.

179hp 1313kg 400PP Weight reduction stage 1 and Carbon bonnet, no additional power options just the Twin plate clutch etc etc.

This tune is waiting for input to improve, but if you are well away from my time it can get you there.
Good luck.
So, while I am waiting for someone to put up a good one, here is the one I am using.

I used my 400pp 2000gt but got silver, I had stock gears on maybe I'll try a shorter setup.

Wooo! Autumn Ring! My best track! :D I'll be aiming for a top 10 this round. 👍

Few days away did a world of good did a 1:37.072 with pretty much a standard camaro so want to use the 350 Shelby here but I don't think it will cut it even with a tune it barely cracks the high 39s disappointing as it's one if my personal favourite to drive

Good to know and will save your ghost before the damn hacks ruin the top of the board.

Goal for me as always will be to get within a second of your time.

Hey guys, I'm baaaaaaack. Just got my internet hooked up at my new place and can't wait to give this TT a try. Still got a lot of unpacking to do and such, so probably won't be able to give this a try until maybe tomorrow, but looking forward to getting back into the mix.

Only if I can get home in time before the hackers take up the whole top 10. :nervous: Which won't be for a few hours due to soccer practice after school.

Thanks for sharing that, Dalone. Works well for me. I've done a 1:37.6 with it with my sloppy driving so it must be pretty good.
I started out with the Toyota 2000GT but could only manage 1:41.0. It's actually faster than the Camaro on the straights but nowhere near as planted in the corners.

Welcome back, Cargo. I hope you're enjoying your new place. Just unpack your PS3, TV and wheel, the rest can wait.

Edit - 1:36.9 now with plenty of room for improvement. That's it till next week for me.

Thanks killer and Moose. And yea, you'd be surprised what a change of atmosphere can do to one's well being. 👍 Glad to be finally out of that hell-hole and ready to start a new chapter in my life. Glad to be back you guys...glad to be back.

On another note, the only internet I was able to get for now is DSL and it doesn't seem to be as stable as what I had before, (cable) but they are running fiber optic cable throughout the park and its supposed to be pretty fast and reliable so that is what I will end up going with once its ready. The crappy DSL will have to do for now though. The DSL seems quick enough, but it doesn't seem to be able to handle my laptop and PS3 being connected at the same time as it ends up disconnecting one or the other. Oh well, if that's the most I have to deal with, I'm still happy. 👍

Sorry about off topic.

Ran a 1:36.738 to start need to play a bit more with the tune and BB to suit the track and these comfort medium tires.

Love this track and at a lower PP with slippy tires.

2000GT - Used a few power upgrades - Sports Exhaust made for an interesting engine note... Reminded me a bit of a Jaguar V12 or a Merlin V16 Spitfire engine.
After much F1 2013 the Graphics of GT5 felt very nice.

Autumn Ring. Nice.
2000GT - YOLO?
Well YOLT baby!

I drove like Helga Brandt was after me. And posted a neat Gold.

Would have been better to run on Comfort Hards - but we can't have everything.

Shame about the cheats.

Didn't think I'd take the lead after only 10 laps. Managed to beat kilou's time by .003! :D 1:34.464. Lost a half tenth in sector 1, a tenth in sector 2, and a half tenth in sector 3. Maybe a 1:33.9 will be possible by the end of this TT.

Edit: 1:34.384! :D
