I stayed up last night and got the update installed and had a few laps in the Yaris.. was too knackered afterwards to share it when my lap was in the top 20 and fell asleep... I'm probably outside the top 100 now but here's my first session save anyway.. I will try to improve tonight and will try the ABS tip that sdi_03 mentions 👍



Tricky combo on the finish straight but this little Yaris is not too sloppy overall

I am just ahead of you @v8_pursuit still using Auto and finding more time with Counting Assistance off, and thanks to @sdi_03 for his video as well .

Few notes, well tips, for the yaris. Brake early, if you brake too late, front loses grip completely.

for the tight blind left after coming uphill. Its turn. 5 or 6. Brake before the bump on the top of the hill. Line up the car so you can go early on the throttle.

In the last hairpin, avoid tyre spin like plague, easy to lose 4 tenths there.

The last straight bumps, nice ones. On the top of the hill, hug the fence left to get good line to the first bump.
There is black marks on the bump, aim there. Keep steering sraight and do slight lift before bump. If you take firs like this, second if flat out no problems.

I'm losing the most time in that 90 degree left before the not-straight backstraight. I see the top ghosts use 3rd gear but I bog too much and have to shift down to 2nd. The rest of the track is there and thereabouts.

yep, I lose also time on that last hairpin. P1 goes in to light speed there. need to see replays how they do it.

I couldn't improve too really. Only a few thousandth. I think I reached my limit as well. As we say in German before a drink, my friend: "Prost!", this means "Cheers!" 👍

Drivers can no longer abuse the track walls and register an official lap time. The Wall Collision Penalty has been modified where colliding with the wall will now invalidate your lap time.

Oh, they finally noticed?

Good on PD for taking action but really? They didn't see that coming? Stuff like that sometimes makes me think that they are that oblivious to some of the more glaring issues in the game.
