Ahh shuddup
Reminded me of this...

Here are the statistics for TT 16 with the Porsche Cayman GT4 '16 at Nürburgring GP.
  • Very good participation rate and on a whole a fairly average TT.
  • Easier than usual to get a reward (only 10% of drivers out of the money), but more difficult than usual for that reward to be gold.
  • That appears to be due to a few super-alien times, similar to the long leading tail we saw at TT 14 at Nürburgring Nordschleife
    • The gap between 1 and 100 was slightly bigger than usual.
    • The proportion within 1% of #1 was only a quarter of average to date.
  • On a personal front, nothing special. Ended #824 with 2:12.768, top 0.63%. Slightly below my average for gap to #1 (see previous bullet set) and on average for my gap to #100 (0.82%). I get on better with the final chicane after TT 10 in the Gr.3 cars there (I did a lot of laps in that one...), but still severely dislike it (George Costanza says it best - see video). So when I posted this time in the first few days, I stopped. On to the next one. Good luck.

PD stats Atlanta.jpg

I think something is wrong with PD's statistics.
When it was road Atlanta I know i reached silver, I even took a print screen of it, see here. But now when I was checking statistics, I am not there where I should be, but PD added some time on my best time and I am somehow placed 6348 place? What the F PD? Placing me on 5.12% of time in bronze, but when I check my medals i only have gold and silver medals??
My time 1:01:333 shows on print screen. And here is print screen of web page of PD's Atlanta statistics, I am not listed there at all???

Edit, and this printscreen was taken 9 days before the end, I can remember I even beat that time too, but can not find image proof now.

The times improved after that screenshot. Winner was down to 0:58.457 by the end. Did you set a faster time in the last 9 days of the TT?

Edit - ok, I see you on page 64, position 6348, time 1:1.045
The formatting on the results page is a bit odd - the times shown in your screenshot are for 1:01.002 to 1:01.004.

I guess you did not got me, surely time improved for 9 days, but how can it be that my time got worse for those days? there are printscreens from PS, my time 1:01.333 and print screen of web page of Atlanta statistics. I am not there? how can you explain that?

See edited reply above, it's their time formatting.

I actaully posted a lap with even better time here. ...

Edit, OK guys, ignore me for a moment and continue with Kyoto... it looks like PD (like many other excel users) have issues with leading zero...

@half_sourly could it be that you have road atlanta half time excel saved somewhere ? not the last one obviously, but during the TT ?
I don't save anything but final results, but here is your result for Road Atlanta from the site . You did 1:01.045. As @Fezzik has said, the way the results are shown are without leading zeroes. It is the bane of my life when providing individual results, because I have to correct that data first. For example your time at Road Atlanta in the raw data I download will be shown in line with 1:01:450, because Excel reads 1:1.45 as 1:1.450. So I have to do some magic to turn it into 1:01.045.

I tried the new TT & it was a mixed bag for me as in initial reaction to the TT.

The car is a let down only when it comes to sound note (understandable as it's EV & in D all the time) but has amazing grip & acceleration. It struggles to turn in the 2 slowest corners which are in the middle of the lap & 180 degrees.

The Kyoto lap is fun without a doubt. Out here those will excel who know the track real well & the maximum capabilities of the ID.R. It's a welcome change compared to the last TT where I neither like the track nor the excessive sliding of the Cayman car.

i'm very curious about the handling, and what the DRS does exactly in this setting???

never mind Micha explained quite well, curious what the difference is with or without, should be anoying to have my thumb on the X butten the whole lap

Fast car usually means a hard TT, but we will see.

3 people lost their gold streak in the last time trial. They just didn't set a time. Probably quit the game or real life got in the way, but that's a big streak to lose. 243 all gold streaks remain.

There were 22084 new participants in the last time trial which seemed like a lot at this point, so I thought maybe the game was growing. From what I can see they're estimating 5-6 million copies sold, but less than 10% of those have done a single TT (454 429 to be exact). I guess a lot of people just haven't even dabbled into time trials so far, or don't play the game anymore, but don't think you can say the game is growing even though more people are trying time trials now.

Of those that have done one there's 5486 A+ drivers, and 16 346 A rated drivers. My guess is if you like the game enough to get an A+ rating in sport mode, then you've probably done at least one time trial by now for some easy credits, so I don't think there's that many more A+ drivers worldwide. Some of them probably don't even play anymore. Shows how small sport mode really is.

Nice statistics but disagree with impretation ;d Find me any other console racing game with bigger online participation.

Only 13.1% of players have the trophy for completing just one Sport race, 2.1% for completing 50.
Based on the sales estimate of 5 million, that's respectively 655,000 & 105,000 players.
Not a big crowd online.

Not everyone is subscribed to ps plus and that's a requirement for sport mode race.

Same as in F1, you can see the wing opening in Mistah guide in the post above.
Yes i get the function of the DRS but how much does it going to effect the laptimes?, so i'm very curious to try it with and without :)
I'm more curious to see if I can make it fly off the hump before turn 8(?), like the FXX.
:lol:we will see, i expect a picture if it works
