Thanks for that - confirms that I missed silver by 0.035s on Autopolis.
To emphasise how irritating that is - had the 2nd placed time been fastest, I would have got silver by over 3 tenths - one person's lap cost me 750,000 Cr.

The day before my weekend, I was going into it thinking I had to manage a 1:24.2xx ... To my credit, I did manage a 1:24.195 the day the Mothership issued new orders. But I could not find another 0.3 seconds for gold.
I wonder if there were any bigger upsets in the TT's so far.
Still, kind of incredible one person managed it to do that. 👽

I don't quite remember what the exact time difference was but I recall Gallo setting an absolute insane lap on the MP4/4 at Suzuka TT. Somewhat of a similar upset, I think.

Put in a few laps at LeMans this morning and got a 3:24.1. it was somewhat a buggered up lap....as I was a good 6/10s ahead on my next lap only to bin it at the exit of the right turn after indianapolis >_<

Managed to set a 3:24.194 in the Sauber which puts me just outside the top 300 as it stands.
To me this feels like the ultimate test of throttle control and patience, but very rewarding if you can hook up a lap.
Will probably focus on the TGR round before coming back to this TT

Interesting to note both Road Atlanta and Nurburgring in the NSX I gave up after about 3 laps - and only one in the NSX, which was a hire car... Since that point I've attempted to up my game and push harder and achieve decent results. 5 of 7 golds have come after the NSX/Nurb combo.
Although, I'm not sure what not competing (as for example SF23/Autopolis) will do for my averages... ?? Basically I know my limits, and SF23 is not a great car for me!

For this first day of testing with the Mazda I am really very happy because I was able to improve my time over the day by more than 0'04 seconds. Here is my last time of the day: 3'27'628 with TC at 1.
I hope to be able to do some more laps this weekend because next week the work will take up a lot of my time.

Willow: slowly slowly, bit by bit, something is coming out from this. My ideal is for the first time well into the silver (17.7) but my pd is still .3xx out of it.
Lamans: the fact that it's not a given car puzzles me. I tried first the Toyota, 3.30, then the Porsche, 3.33, then the sauber , 1month.
Toyota is faster than Porsche on the straight, but has less cornering speed.
C19 amplifies more and more this difference.
I don't think it's worth to continously swap car, the adjustment needed is huge.
But... which I should choose?
Will I be able to maximize Toyota speed and minimize losses on first and last sector?
Or should I get the Porsche to leverage its downforce?
For sure I need a ghost from the same car, to make it useful

For those who struggle with the LeMans TT using group C cars. You can turn on the stability control and counter steer assistance. It might be cheating a bit, but lets get our gold/silver first...then can turn off and try to match the time 😉

I'm sure there's some difference in BoP, but with the GR Toyota event going on right now if that's your preferred GR1 car. There are replays there if you're looking on ways you can improve your lap time with the GR010 Hybrid in the TT.
I don't have all the time in the world to practice and set hot laps in the TT, so I figure I can kill two birds with one stone. Putting miles down in the TT should be pretty good practice for the race (weather permitting).
