Don't tease me with your improvements.... :mischievous:
I love to tease you....🤣🤣
New improve at Sardegna and under 1'05 with time at 1'04'930

And welcome to the new people, that leaderboard is going to explode and is going to be the standard for GT7, @half_sourly you are going to be famous then 😁🤣🙏
Just wanted to add to your accurate statement that @half_sourly does all of this for no pay. He donates his time and knowledge to this leaderboard so that we all may keep tabs. I for one can't thank him enough for pushing this community and adding more to the GT7 experience (for most of us, I would say) than PD can.

All I'm saying is buy the man a coffee through his sig link if you can swing it.

My dear friend @Pesselles I especially don't want you to get angry or upset (because it's very bad for your health at your age 🤣🤣) but know that I have further improved my time in Sardegna. I'm thinking of stopping on this time because I'm well under 1'04 as I want (even if I still think I can do better).

New improve and maybe the last for this TT at 1'04'829

Most excellent!

I completely forgot you can send friend requests through the app.

It's too bad we no longer have the function to group friends into lists. It's difficult remembering who some users are because you might have a PSN different than your gtp account.
Same 😂

But you can add that information here if you want, just as we have. 😉

Some more progress at Daytona. I'm trying to find this "sweet spot" that seems to boost the car.

My observations suggest it's not so much a single spot. However, it's the entire seam between the banking and apron. The outer edge (right side) of the double yellow line. You are trying to float the right tires of the car in that seam with minimal and smooth steering input. As @EbrahimX7 alludes to, the game physics treat it as a tiny amount of straight track allowing the car to maintain speed throughout the entire turn.

Also a tip for wheel users. Upon invalidating a lap, ride up the banking and hang your right arm to your side to relax the shoulder and let blood get back into your fingers.

My optimal lap from today's session would be P46 today.

Damned, this is a head shot!!

Bravo mon ami, I'm very happy for you as this is an absolutly brilliant score (and ranking):bowdown:

For the record, I saw your .829 before you've posted it here, as I was (also) laping on Sardegna.
Between each session, I was checking my leaderboard...

I didn't want to stole your victorious entrance in the 1:04 because I only had very few satisfying laps, and only one potential sub 1.05 but the last corner... you know...
I could probably join you in the very select "1.04" Club but I really need to dedicace a long session to this TT. But not sure if I will have time and motivation for that before the end.

Once again: gros respect!

I appreciate the kind words, thank you.

Good luck with the Dino TT guys, the TT will end at 3am Thursday so all the best. And remember stay safe. Most of the time I stay indoors playing gt7 and watching Youtube videos. And also doing household chores helping my family and taking care of them. I cook, clean and give love/support to my mom and grandpa. The rest of my family are abusive, and not supporting at all. That is one of the reasons I came here in 2021. So glad I kept searching for racing forums and found this. That is how I found out about GTPlanet and it's longtime service.

Merci mon ami c'est très gentil de ta part !!!
When I saw yesterday and this morning that my optimal time was under 1'05, I told myself that I should not give up. And I wanted to get there at all costs. Not to be better than someone else, or to break away from you 🤣🤣 but just to see how far I could go. And I took my time.
Yesterday I rode a lot, having @djolliea 's lap as a ghost, I watched his replay a lot. I clearly saw the braking points and its cornering. This was very useful because it is a car that swings a lot. And if you want to make a good time with this Dino you have to go gently when cornering and braking because of the enormous mass transfer it generates. If you watch his replay the car doesn't move too much because everything is done smoothly. This is how I was able to approach certain portions better and be quicker on the way out. As I had an optimal time of -00'2xx compared to my best lap, I said to myself that it was doable. And today I rode very little (some 130 km), but I was able to keep my cool and hold on, and finally lower my time.
I know it's easier said than done, but if you take your time you can do it.
Don't give up my friend you are capable of it 💪💪💪

Congratz Jeje on your new time, idk how much more I'll be able to do at Sardegna, I may have reached my limit, 1'07.504. I was hoping to push more into silver so at least I'll walk away with 1 million instead of 250k.
Thanks a lot Chris. You can do it !!!!! Courage !!!!

I believe there are two tenths in the last corner just by hooking your front right tire on the curb. I know this is much easier said than done but if you concentrate on just the one thing it might be easier than managing a clean line without the curb. It's what got me below 1.05... I was super consistent at very low 1:05 and the curb got me there.

Hi all,

new here - my very first post.
I'd say I'm a GT veteran, started on the PS1 (first one for me was actually GT2 and then GT1) and played every part since.
But I'm a 'casual' veteran, only playing single player and with controller.
Now GT7 with PS5 and Controller.
Been reading and following GTPlanet since GT5 I think. Now decided to finally sign up.

Now to time trialing:
I have mostly sliver with some bronze and the occasional gold.
To be honest, silver was what I was aiming for. Mostly fairly easily achievable, so a quick Million credits. Gold seemed to far away or too much of a struggle.
But lately I've gotten a bit more ambitious. Got an easy gold with the Ford at Grand Valley and also golded the EVO IX at RBR - took me a few more attempts and the guide from Tidgney

Then came Le Mans in the Veyron GR4
Well, this is were the ambition to to me. Easy silver after a couple of laps, gold seemed to far off again.
But this time I put in some hours in time trialing, just to find out how much is possible for me.
Had a long session, putting in close to 500KM
And, I got into GOLD :)

So, 3 in a row.
Could be even 5 in a row. The Daytona one seems easy, gold for now but still some improvements possible.
Also the Dino wasn't to hard to get into gold territory, but I hink I might need to have another go here 😓

That's how it starts... this is THE place to make you faster. So much nuance discussed here. Good luck and happy lapping!

Right you god damn aliens, I'm obviously not circle of whatever but I have reclaimed my gold.

Now just bloody stop. Please.

Pump it up!

“yesterday and this morning that my optimal time was under 1'05”

Eye of the Tiger

I'm not an alien, just a guy who tries again and again (much more than some pilots) and when you insist it pays off. Like in life, even if it's just a game and I enjoy playing it.

I tried to a couple weeks ago and that website would not work for me. 🤷‍♂️ edit - tried again with Chrome instead of Firefox and it works. (on PC)
