@Circleof6ths

Nice time mate! You are fast! Really looking forward to seeing what you are capable of on anything other than an oval.

Chill it out around here, like I said to you before, this place is full of banter and laughter on a daily basis. It very very very far from hate!!

The guys around here will put a smile on your face no matter what...

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Did some more laps around Daytona today. Unfortunately no improvement.
Really hard to keep the car smooth around the inner line with the controller.
Into gold, but just barely. Not sure if that will last.

Well, on the positive side I unlocked the 'Round and Round' trophy for 500 miles in oval tracks. Didn't have that one yet, so I guess that's something :cool:

@Griff0

Welcome! :cheers:

For sure if you keep hanging around here, those Golds will keep coming!

Feel free to friend request me and I'm sure others here will happily accept, too. Having a full friend list really helps with the motivation to push faster and faster.
Thanks, really appreciated!
All my friends are Nintendo/PC and my brother is playing Forza on Xbox
So my GT friends list has been empty so far, as my few PS friends are not into racing games :boggled:

This "1:04" sardegna club seems to be very populated, dunno if I want to join ;)

If you didn't did it yet, set the sensitivity of your controller to -2. It was helpful to lower my PB to 35.728.

Gold shouldn't move a lot now, unless one of the Titans decide to smash another world record.

Let us know your PSN name and we will fix that for you 🤪

Only got that T2 hook up click twice in about 1,000 kms and it was on already invalid laps. An incredibly stupid TT.
Yes, i see alot of top 100's on Daytona's comming by here, but i can't stand the challenge, it infuriates me to the bone and rather have some good corners to stuff up in stead of death staring the line.

I do wonder what the best controller time will be in the end, this guy is A: VERY steady... or B: Fully intoxicated so no other twiching movement occures :lol: :lol:

In this club, there are (too) many Brits and Germans, I don't feel comfortable to let you and @NicoGmbh alone facing these naughty boys.
But don't worry Jérome, if I enter the 1:04 club on Sardegna, it would be something like 1:04.98x but absolutely not faster than you... And as soon I'll enter the 1:04 (if I'll manage), I swear I'll immediatly stop ;)

I had some interesting sessions this afternoon, with some potential scores sub 1:05 (before the Esses) but the last turn ruined the few hundredths or tenths in advance I had.

So, no improvement for now despite some nice sectors but no better lap than 1:05.150 :)

I wasn't able to enter the 1:18 Club on Grand Valley with RoadRunner but I really feel I can finally break this curse on Sardegna, and I really hope I'll have enough time before thursday morning.

:mischievous: <--- current mood

05.150, that means you have the right rhythm, just a story of details...

Yesterday, I stumbled on this limit several times before unlocking 3 tenth.

Join us quickly and Vive la Bretagne !
Yes Nico, that's exactly this: only a matter of details and a matter of time. I'll do my best and I really hope to manage it (just for my personal satisfaction).

We all know this feeling when you're already very happy with your score/ranking but you absolutely want to save few more tenths (or hundredths) to reach another performance level.

I was out of the TT hunt and indeed GT7 for a couple of months because of hardware failure and then a disasterous new rig build. Trying to get back into it with the Dino, but it proved quite the challenge to get anywhere near the top of GTP leaderboard now. Last fall I could even sneak in a rare win against @Gomario JSP on road cars, but he along with a good few others have ascended out of my reach. I did at least a dozen sessions on this, first ones still familiarizing with the new gear and couple of very frustrating sessions ruined by GT7 forgetting about my pedal calibration settings (found out by watching replays that my gas pedal only hit ~90% and still got a 1:04.8).

So now, with my wrists sore as hell, I'm done. Top 100 was way out of reach, was trying to push for 1% from top but even that is proving a hair too far. This lap is .04 seconds short of my very best sector 1 and sector 2 is in fact my PB, so extremely close to my limit. Regardless of the current ruthless level of competition here, it's nice to see the community blooming! Keep it up guys!
