Small improvement over 139 laps 😱

Now I can see 1:04, but damn, it's hard to put it into one lap.
Dino needs very fine movements of the steering not to loose grip and there's a limit of what I can do here with directionals and AT.
But it's fun nonetheless, will try one more time tomorrow.

New improvement: 1'06.607

I think this may be my limit at Sardegna. I really don't have anymore extra time or patience to give. I will just have to get silver and the 1M credits. I just have a lot on me maintaining my home and taking care of me and my family. After all, that's all I have.

Well other than a nice, polite and awesome GTPlanet community. This site rocks.

A slight pickup at Sardegna with 1 day remaining. I started the session off with CSM on strong as that was what I had used on my previous best (1:04.561), switched to CSM weak and gained a whopping .005 seconds, then went full out no driving aids and ended up nabbing my new best by a better margin. :dopey: I immediately regretted adding @BeRSeRKeR_TR to my friends list when I saw his time on the board. But I jumped him by .006. :P

On a personal note, I'm getting kind of peeved at the number of top 150-200's I've been getting recently. Fast, but never quite enough to reach the top 100. I 👽 want 👽 those 👽 stinkin' 👽 alien 👽 badges! @half_sourly, would you mind showing me my personal results up to this point, please? If not, no problem. You do so much around here. :)

Bought and drove this car back in GT6 at HSR and was fairly disgusted with its mid-speed turn capabilities.
Yeah, I remember that challenge. Controller users were severely disadvantaged because we would have to lift in the final turn. The car just couldn't take it. Wheel users had no issues. Much like Broad Bean last year.

I will say this though, the Dino TT was an absolute blast to do. I had a lot of fun and enjoyment this past 2 weeks driving this classic slider around Sardegna. It was an addicting one, I did at least 50 laps a day. Maybe PD will think of another awesome TT similar to this one. I guess we'll find out Thursday.

@NicoGmbh I sincerely regret to inform you, current organizational policy prevents me from accepting your FR at this time. ;) 😉👽👽:P.
Face your fear, you must 🐸😂

I am very far from the Aliens and Daytona in Chapparal will be catastrophic for me (I can not have fun, but I salute the skills of the pilots faster than me).

Seriously, I’m progressing with them. First in the 30,000, then 10,000, then 3,000, my next goal is to be in the 1,000 more often.

These Aliens do push me to improve and especially I enjoy the game more and feel a lot of sensations than before.

What !!! 👽🛸👽🛸👽 everywhere !!!

Welcoming some new members to the gtplanet scoreboards. @PlanetJanet @CobraMJD @EarlofMtAiry @Oi Oi JC @BeRSeRKeR_TR @scourgehedge your personal results to date are below and I will include you in the weekly results from this Thursday. The attached Excel also has your results.

Thanks, that's very cool. Before I only get a bronze to easy cash and move on, this will motivate even more to get better results 😁

I had very few opportunities to play this last week, only a short session on Saturday. Today I'm leaving for a little Easter vacation, so no GT7 until next Monday either. Yesterday was my last chance to climb up the board a little more in Sardegna, but I couldn't improve my PB of 1:04.841, even though I had a very promising optimal quite early on:

I tried everything @Jeje6410 , but this one is yours ;)

I was surprised to see that my Daytona time (35.632) that I set in a single 30 minute session back when the TT launched is still good enough for the top 1,000. I guess this means I could improve further, maybe even reach the top 100. But I'm not sure if I want to. :D For one, it's annoying as hell. And also, on some level, I don't want my best result to be one that doesn't actually require any (driving) skill. It's tempting though ;)

Anyway, I got until Monday to think about this, and who knows what the next TT will bring.

CU guys in a few days, Happy Easter weekend everyone!

I removed the lines for the gold, silver and bronze here (a.k.a. alien mode ;) )
The y axis is the percentile, so your worst ever result was top 9% in TT 5
On the ones where you include GSB, are the GSB values % of drivers that got those medals? Been meaning to include a graph for people in my Excel file for personal results, so doing it now; one with GSB, one without. It won't replace your service, especially the comparison service, as I can't do that and my method for getting personal results is a bit slower than yours.

Yes, everything is percentiles, so the gold line is the lowest ranked player that received gold. If that player happens to be you, your point and the gold point are identical, otherwise you are over (slower than) or under (faster than) the cut-off.

Sounds great!

The way you started in here made me wonder. Nice work man. It ain't easy.
Can't agree more with you and even if @Circleof6ths doesn't grab the WR as announced earlier, his response on the track is perfectly clear and loud.

Getting a Top 100 here is an absolute exploit.
Getting a Top 1,000 requires an UFO abilitation 👽
Getting a Top 10,000 is priceless (hope to stand this ranking to 7 days)
Getting a Top 100,000 is great (I really pray my friend @smoothbore12 will get in this ranking for once)

Man respect for you all still fighting on Daytona, I was very quickly done with it 🤣
Can't set myself to try Sardegna again also, I think I can get back in the top 100 if i put in some real time but it doesn't "grab" me anymore... so I hope the new TT will get me some motivation again!
I know right? I tried some Sardegna again and was like "Meh...." in 5 laps

Maybe you only need the right motivation 🤷‍♂️🤓😎

Yeah Daytona does nothing for me, golded it an ran....
I liked the Dino don't get me wrong, drives beautifully and handles like a charm, but I'm just done with it, 2 weeks is realy to long for me to keep that drive to end up high, and when 1 trial is like the worst ever ( everybody their own ofcours ) it made me go pike fishing this morning instead of racing on a day off 😁🤣

@JasonMcDonald if the new one is good I'm back in as always, but I'm afraid it's going to be understeer shenanigans with a Lambo SUV 🤣🤣
Thanks for that motivation efford tho! 😁🤣

Very good initiative to go pike fishing! I love that !
I'm really having a lot of fun with this Dino and if I find some time this evening i should manage to get another 0.1 which would give me the best ranking so far.

1 image > 1000 words to summarize these past 2 days on Sardegna :nervous:

After +/- 10 sessions of tens laps (+/- 150kms today), I'm comfortably in a range of 1:05.2xx to 1:05.5xx.
Among all these "no-improvements" scores, I had 3 optimals times under 1:05 (this one shared is the best).

I have the impression I could lap for days with the felling to be able to enter the 1:04 club with the certitude to never do it.
I'll have a last try later today.
