I couldn’t bring myself to spend more than 30 min on this TT, done with it already. It ticks so many boxes I dislike:
  • FF drivetrain
  • No power/speed (too slow)
  • Too short track/lap (70 secs in this slow arse car), don’t care for Tsukuba in general either
  • The above points make the TT, as I like to call it, “artificially close”

All that said, moving on. McLaren F1 GTR at Sarthe certainly looks very promising. An incredible car on a great track. Looking forward to that a lot.

Complete opposite here, Tsukuba is ABSOLUTELY my jam. I spent a lot of extra time making sure I did well, both with it being my favourite track and owning an EG6 IRL.

Extremely chuffed with this as I've struggled to find the speed on GT7 that I had when I was younger (aging, life... And just generally not being comfortable with the G29).

Sarthe and me don't mix, so this'll be the last time I'm anywhere near the pointy end for awhile 🤣

Y’all are up until 2:10 am💀

So..... this is what i trully despise about Le Mans...
I didn't even know there were tracklimits on the straights.... i do now..

As you can see i did try the cheatcode of countersteer on this thing, not realy sure if it does anything for me tho, but at least i got progression, but stuffed up somany better laps..., i think if i hit one lap without major mistake i'm well in the 38's..... but yes....brain errors...:lol:

Great time there!, flying as always! 😁

Go get them mate, you'll gold that course with you eyes closed ( altho not realy a good idea in this case  )
I wish you all the luck in the world, you got this!
I know that you know this. Sometimes you just have to break things up into small enough pieces to handle. One sector, one turn, one leg of a flight, one day, one hour, one minute. Just know that there are lots of people that are hoping the best for you. Thanks for your time and insights. I look forward to your posts.
Cheers mates! I’ll keep everybody posted on how it goes this week and hopefully keep tabs on this thread when I have a quiet moment. Five days in the (flight) sim in a row is gonna be a strain 😵‍💫

I did have another session at Le Mans last night, set a PB but had an absolute shocker otherwise. Track limits breaking my heart rn.. I set an absolute flyer with the tiniest track limit at Tetre Rouge and even with a mistake in the final sector it was a 3:37.390 so I know a 3:36 is possible 🤕 oh well I may have a day or two next week to try again! Still, the PB was a good lap but this is so much more frustrating than the Veyron Gr4 from a few months ago 😵‍💫

First, AND LAST, day at Tsukuba
TT-TsukubaCivic-almost.jpg

I just have ZERO pleasure in driving FWD cars (the HRC Civic at Nord last year was an exception), they just don't turn for me, I have to coast and lift the brakes which kills my time. With no partial throttle/brake input it's simply hell to run them.

Having said that, I'm actually kind of surprised about the laptime as I was expecting something along mid 12s here, so a lap under 1:12 is a very good result for me. I'll gladly take it and leave it this instance.

From tomorrow the long weekend at LeMans is starting, so I'll have the stream ready and be lapping the TT and racing with Titans in between. It'll be probably a lot harder TT to gold I expect, but I'm ready to give it my all. Can't wait!

I broke the 3:38 barrier and got onto the 3:37s despite a lively sector one! @Chrome_PuPXD sorry buddy, your move!

I would love to grind this one but it’s a busy and stressful week at work for me; I’m on a course until Sunday evening and a lot riding on it! Would really appreciate y’all’s encouragement to get through it 🙏🏼

 I 'm not sure how much time there is left in my Le mans lap!
I should have some time later this week to have another session for this one, though I haven't actually made a start at Tsukuba and time is ticking!

Jokes aside though good luck with your real life goings on. :D

New session on Tsukuba, and got gold at first lap ! with 1:12.909

Spent the 9 next laps trying to improve and finally succeeded on lap 9. I think this one is safe.

Went from ~45000th to ~27000th just by gaining 0.168s 😅

Also did my first valid lap at Le Mans, was my only goal : do a valid lap, even slowly. Tried to improve in lap two but failed... In bronze zone for now. With some training I think I can reach silver. It will depend on the future TT, if it is more attractive to me or not.

Trying to decide if I want to give Tsukuba one last go tomorrow. I did gain a little bit of time today, but I still do not enjoy the TT. I may just go back to LeMans since I'm dropping down the leaderboard and know I can go faster. And I actually, you know, enjoy it.

Possibly more annoying than this TT to me, though, has been my last 4 daily workout "prizes."
3* - 5,000 cr :grumpy:
5* :dopey: - stroke or bore up for a Delorean :banghead:
3* - 10,000 cr :irked:
3* - 5,000 cr :grumpy:

Yep, a total of 20,000 credits and a part I'm never going to use for 4 day's worth of driving. Thanks, PD...

DAMN, no, I got 1'13.205, I was so, so close to gold. Why didn't I push more. Oh today's Tuesday, I keep thinking today is Wednesday. The days are running together for me I'm under so much stress. Trying to monitor my health issues and keeping our home in check. It's a full-time job. But hopefully tonight I can have some free time to rack up that 6th gold.

Unfortunately, last week I became sick and spent the entire week in bed, unable to put any more laps in with the Porsche at the Nurburgring. I finished the trial in 302nd with a 7:37.981. I'm sure there was more time to be found in that lap but I was denied the opportunity to find it.

For the current trials, I've not put too much effort into them as I'm still recovering and I don't have the energy to be putting lots of effort into these trials. The EG Civic around Tsukuba is not enthusing me as much as I thought it would. I've put in a 1:11.537 which places me 504th currently. I'm not attempting this again as I feel I've perfected the lines here and the only time left to gain would be incremental improvements in braking points and corner exits which is quite boring.

The long tail F1 around Le Mans seems interesting, although I've only done 3 laps so far, so my banker time is a 3:41.252 which places me 4059th. I'm sure there will be a couple of seconds to find here, but I anticipate track limits to be the limiting factor this time around. I would not call this a proper attempt yet.

Oh my, well I had a 7-day stay in the ER last week, I was really sick, my blood pressure was low and there was an infection on my left ankle, a ruptured blood vessel. They had to give me anti-bitoics for 10 days in order for it to heal quicker. I am recovering 50%. I'm very close to the gold time at Tsukuba. I gotta make every second count tonight and tomorrow.

Started the night with some B race QT and remembered how much I hate RB mostly t1 and t2. Had to change it up and find something fun.

LeMans is definitely an enjoyable combo for me. Took an hour to find my groove again but it was actually soothing to get in the Macca for some laps.
I thought I was done for the evening with a .128 improvement over my first session and all but turned everything off.

I realized that the previous hour was just getting me ready and it would be a waste not to go just a few more laps. In the next 15 minutes I accomplished a .9xx drop and pleased to say the least!

Maybe a 39 is in there before this one ends 🤔

This morning brings a huge improvement after only 22km driven!
PB nearly 1 second down!

Again, I had some mistakes, but it was far the best lap from me so far...
If there weren't some super alien times from leader, I would be close to gold, now is 1.5s (too) far.

Any advice on lap?
