Ohh...I do kick the rear out, but it is to get the car into the neutral steer state so I can get the car to rotate. Tha's how I take turn 7, 9 and the final turn.

I find it helps at T11 and 12 as well. Entering T11 in 3rd with full throttle and full steering lock kicks out the back, down to 2nd for transitioning into T12, back up to 3rd and instead of braking, initiate oversteer with a blip on throttle and use the slide to reduce speed and be back on throttle early on exit of T12. At T5 dropping into first and quickly releasing the brake swings out the back, letting me catch the slide in 3rd gear with optimal grip because of the turn's camber. It almost feels like the car locks onto rails if timed right.

And also the oversteer saved me from invalidated laps a few times. If I cut the apex too soon - blip on throttle kept the outer rear wheel inside the track limits

This car also doesn't Scandinavian flick at all so you have to jump on and of throttle to upset it at the corner entry or apex on some.

There was corners that I struggled to go sideways so I did skip some.

I did make a quick drift inspired livery though.

You nailed it again, even if PD didn't provide the drifting-friendliest setting

I like the idea that some guys come to the track to go sideways and fast whereas others need to do save to be fast.

It's so much fun to watch!

This TT was so fun that I actually spent another session at Catalunya last night, and this was the result. While I gave up 0.15 in Sector 2 (Mostly at Tune 9), Sector 1 & 3 were absolutely MEGA.

Will this be my first ever Global Top 100 in TT?

I did already try and failed. Will probably do a fake-video and share it in my GT7-profile.

This is an awesome lap and almost as fast as I am not going sideways... Livery is a must. Wow! 🤙

Pretty big change without TCS so you did a pretty good job there! 🎊🎊🍾🍾🥳🥳

Booo....that lap would've been a low 1:50.8s (so did 2 other previous laps), but missed turn 2 🫠 I normally do .5s for 1st sector.

Oefff.... that would have been a pretty lap indeed.... I can relate to that with my last corner brain error
But that neutral steering you pointed out is the real thing here some corners then just flow sooo good on this track but it's a VERY thin line between neutral and oversteer here.
Fun but frustrating....😂

@Metalgear9493 never imagined that was a real thing to hide them, and I can also imagine it does bother you when fighting over those spots 😂😂, glad you don't, now we have something to chase .....atleast....when ghost is at reset each...sector 😂😂

That said...

I had a frustrating morning session with always a stuff up somewhere....
Did have a descent run in the end but completely binned the last corner..... that would have definitely been a low .7xx and would have gotten me a top 100 again.... but noooo......brain nerveouseness occured 😂🙈😂

But happy to have joined the 50' club with my Banana 😂

Lovely lap right there.

It is a weird one to drift and the tires don't help either.

We should definately make this a thing each time we have a car thats capable of going sideways.

But I still make a lot of mistakes, particularly in the sequence of turns 10, 11 and 12 where I can't really get the car to be stable. And that damn sequence 7 and 8 !!!! 😡😡
I have always set the TC to 0 but yesterday I don't know why I wanted to set it to 1 and indeed I was losing time in sector 2 as you pointed out to me. And I want to congratulate you for having another clean and clear ride !!!👏👏👏👏 bravo mon ami !!!!

I am still getting use to my new setup. I didn't expect the transition to be this big.
But it turns my beloved GT into a whole new animal. I usually restart invalidated laps, but now I get so lost in it all that I just continue lapping non stop. It's sublime.

It's making TTs fun for me again, and it's also teaching me how the car handles before I go for gold.

I actually really enjoy the way that this car handles for racing as on any red laps I gave it a good blast back round the track.

FYI, I did upload the livery too, I put the semi-racing exhaust on (flame tipped blue) which gave me the idea for the colour scheme, blue ring wheels and blue ring front badge (forgot to do the back badge).

It's taken a little bit of time to get used to the car and how to drive it, but this morning something clicked. Managed to get down from a 1.52.7 to a 1.51.9 - hopefully that's enough. It was the slow left hander at Wurth that was costing me loads of time. Once I got used to that one (actually going a bit slower into it) I was able to rapidly improve. Really enjoy it when it's a challenge but still achievable!

Very smooth lap mate, I couldn't get to that top 100 😂😂
I'm beginning to get very curious what a tip 100 time is going to be in the end.....a .7 for place 100 now is kind of insane...

I dunno.....I can probably drop the time by another 1/2 a tenth, but .6s will need all the stars to line up for me. I doubt I can do top 100 on this round. By the time this TT ends, I'm not even sure .6s will be in the top 100.

However I'm not finished yet. This car has a super strong engine, I normally have the volume turned up so I can hear the sound effects.

My least favorite section is Tetre Rouge.

To be honest, you probably lost like half a second, at least, in the first Mulsanne chicane (@1:02)

You not only missed the apex for the entry, but went in too deep for the exit

If you can improve by one second, there probably still some tenths you can lose somewhere.

For the high rank on the board, I've noticed usually being ranked up higher with road cars than high downforce cars. I'm certainly slower with race cars, but the majority of participants often seems to struggle more with slidey cars.

Edit: just rewatched the replay and forgot I almost overshot the last two corners. Really don't know how it ended up being my PB.
